One X 1TB Console - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Bundle [DISCONTINUED]

I already had an Xbox One S but have wanted an X for a while. With the $300 sale price (and some gift cards), I couldn't resist even though the S still works fine after a couple years. At the moment, we have a 1080P Sony TV living room, so most of my use of this has been on that. I will say it does look better even on that TV - cleaner, crisper and with better colors. We do have a budget 4K TV (TCL) in my son's room and it's even more noticeable there. Enough that I am really itching to upgrade the living room TV to something that will really take advantage of the graphic capabilities of the X. Other than that, it's an Xbox. All the same games I've been playing, but some are nicer. (Forza 7 and Horizon 4, and Gears 5 are X Enhanced and I really want to see them on a nice 4k TV...) I'm solely an Xbox gamer right now (I had both Xbox and PS consoles the previous generations, but not enough time for both anymore), so I can't compare it to the PS4 Pro, but I would definitely recommend it over the One S if you're looking to get an Xbox now. I will say I'm happy with this purchase even with the Series X coming out later this year.

For many reasons I was extremely hesitant to purchase an Xbox One X online, but spring break was coming soon and since we were basically on lockdown due to the coronavirus I really wanted my kids (well, and me) to have something fun to do. I did a great deal of research and I read a lot of negative reviews where many sellers attempted to pass off previously opened and/or used products as new so this made me even more apprehensive. Apparently my research paid off because Abe's Electronics sold me this Xbox One X at a lower price than the retail stores AND it arrived earlier than the projected date (Thanks Abe's!!!). I was very relieved when it arrived as it had the original stickers on it and I could tell that it had never been opened. I highly advise doing diligent research when it comes to different sellers because they are not all the same! Setting it up was very easy and after a little more research I was able to "link" it to our original Xbox One and now we are able to share our Xbox Live Gold subscription between the two consoles, download the same games to both consoles without paying for them twice, and even play single-player games together online (Thanks Microsoft - this is exactly why I will continue to buy your products!!!).

This Xbox is better than the original Xbox one is every way imaginable. It is a good all in one entertainment package especially if you’re a college student like me. The graphics are great with all of the games I’ve played. It performs well during extended use as well. The console runs very quietly. The only con I can see so far is that it takes a couple minutes to warm up if you turn it on from a full off. During those couple of minutes it can be a little laggy navigating the menus. After a while though it eases up. For this specific package, it was really easy for me to go through the credit approval process. Literally 5 minutes is all it took for me to confirm my order and begin the shipping process. I am definitely satisfied with my order and can not wait to upgrade to the next Xbox when it releases.

I went ahead and ignored the negative reviews and bought it refurbished for 350 from uShopMall. The shipping was really fast. I bought it on a Wednesday and it came the following Friday. I've been meaning to upgrade my Xbox One to an Xbox One X for some time now but didn't have the money till recently. At the time of writing this review a brand new Xbox One X is around 400 dollars give or take and trying to save some money I decide to buy the refurbished model for 350. I was nervous all the way up until I plugged it in and set it up, after that my nerves were gone. It works as if it was brand new, games load super fast and some run at a buttery smooth 4K HDR 60 fps on my TLC series 6 4K T.V. I would totally recommend buying even if you have a 1080p screen given the Xbox One X's upscaling ability. I'll end my review by saying this, of course buy new if you can afford it but if you can't, take a chance and buy refurbished and don't be nervous like I was because even if it doesn't work, amazon has money back garuntee. I don't regret buying it at all and would buy from seller uShopMall again.

What I needed, til I upgrade again.

My first order was most likely stolen by a porch snatching loser, but Amazon was VERY quick to send me a replacement for my lost item. That said: It's already known that the Xbox One X is the most powerful console currently available and offers the best deal in gaming with Game Pass/Ultimate. A great deal for a great price! Don't sleep on this just because the Series X is coming this holiday. This is a big boy/big girl console for those that crave PC-like power in a console. Oh, and Jedi: Fallen Order is a great game.

From purchase to setup, I am pretty pleased. However the hiccups were there. While others chose All Access, which is actually separate from this bundle offer, considered a "new model." I chose the Black Friday limited time offer, then paying in equal installments over 12 months, using Amazon Prime Visa. I did this, because I converted from Live Gold to Ultimate Access, recently, and have two years prepaid. Over two years, though, the Xbox One X bundle is actually cheaper, when considering Ultimate is two thirds of the cost. On top of that, All Access requires a Capitol One credit check, and I didn't want that in my wallet. The order was shipped across the country, why? I don't know, I would have thought the local Amazon warehouse would have had it ready for same day delivery. When it arrived, it was raining, though no attempt was made to deliver it to the door. It was dropped 6ft over the fence. Strange, you tell them once, deliver over the fence for a soft package you weren't going to be home for, then for the rest of your life everything gets tossed over the fence, no matter what it is. Fortunately only the outer box got soaked. The rest remained dry. Somethings I noticed. The Xbox One X was made mid 2019, yet Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a new game bundle. There was a secondary set of circular stickers sealing the sleeve to the packaging. Also the primary box was dusty. I have a theory. Somewhere along the chain, the box was opened, and the contents replaced/changed/updated, then the bundle sleeve was added. I don't know who does this, Microsoft or Amazon. I was disappointed that the game was a digital download, and not a disc. The item presentation suggests a disc. Still, I cannot play the game. After downloading over night, it has 11 hours left. Not everyone has gigabit. Setting up the unit wasn't as easy as documentation suggested. The iPhone Xbox App does not use the camera, therefore you cannot use the QR code to set things up. Also because the unit was so old, there was a 700MB+ update required and this disrupted and complicated the setup. Where I could type in a code to setup the unit from my phone, it forgot after the update, and I had to do it again on reboot - the iPhone app was no longer able to participate. Also, I had to manually enter codes to add the game license and extend Xbox Live Gold, by 20 days. What ever happened to using the camera and OCR to read the codes? Oh that feature is with the QR code reader - non-existent. I replaced my Blu-Ray player with the bundle, on a new 4K TV. I decided to reuse the HDMI High Speed 1.4 cable, already run to the previous component. This may have been the source of screen blackouts during setup. I have reseated the cable and it hasn't blackout since. But the situation has been noted. I liked that the Xbox detected the TV was 4K and a switched over to the higher setting.

Bought this as a gift. They never had any issues.

I was very pleasantly surprised upon receiving the package and checking the product out. The package came a day earlier than expected, which in itself is a pleasant thing, then the console was spotlessly clean and looked brand new! I’ve been using it for a few months now and I can say that it operates perfectly as well, so all in all, a great purchase! Very happy!

Apesar de ter um PS4 e agora um Xbox, posso dizer com tranquilidade que se tivesse que escolher um dos dois hoje em dia seria o Xbox. O console é muito bom, assim como o controle. O único ponto fraco é o controle ser a pilha, mas se você comprar a bateria original, ele dura por dias e dias sem precisar carregar. Muito bom. Além disso, hoje em dia o gamepass do Xbox faz ele ser imediatamente maravilhoso. Comprar um videogame e ter acesso a uma biblioteca de centenas de jogos no primeiro dia é uma sensação de liberdade inédita na minha vida de jogador. Recomendo muito.

Arrived sooner than expected. In full working order. Shipped inside Amazon box. Actual box had some minor cosmetic damage but overall great price for an amazing bundle. Game is a digital download, no hardcopy
