Great litter!!
Tl;dr perfect for one cat home. No tracking! Everyone's situation and set up with their cats is a little bit different, but for my house and pet, this litter is perfect! I have one petite cat (6lbs) that lives in my small urban apartment with us. Our cat box is in our dining room in a cabinet designed to hide the box. The box is right in our faces (and noses) so we scoop it pretty much immediately after she goes poop. For our set up, having a low tracking litter was really important. I had previously tried the Tidy Cat breeze system because of a recommendation from a friend who said it didn't track at all, but I hated that fussy set up and the poopy pellets that got smeared and left behind after scooping really grossed me out. I was hesitant to try another pellet litter after that, but the clay i had switched to was getting all over our house. I tried Fresh News begrudgingly, but have been so pleasantly surprised. My biggest barrier to trying this litter was the fear that the pellets would get smushy and soggy after being peed on, but that hasn't been the case at all since we keep the box so clean. I think if you let the cat pee on this litter and then left it for two days, then yes, it would get soggy. But every time I scoop it i also mix the pellets around so that no wetness accumulates in the corners. I really like that this litter is environmently friendly, inexpensive, non tracking, unscented, no dust, and doesn't get stuck in my cats nails or paws. This is perfect for us! I'm really glad I gave it a try.

No sandy feet!
I must admit, I am a (reformed?) dog person. I’ve lived with cats before and always hated the feel of sandy litter on the floor. So when we took in a stray 4 week old kitten that I feel in love with, I dreaded a life of feeling like I lived on a beach. This style of litter was recommended to start training our kitten once she could potty in her own and a second cat and a year later I’m still happy with it the stuff. Our cats do kick it out sometimes (all the time) but it’s so nice that they don’t track it around, any that’s on the floor I just sweep up and drop back in the box. I would say we use more of this stuff than traditional cat litter but the trade off is worth it to me. There’s no dust, it doesn’t really clump but I poke around in the box like an archaeologist and it’s easy to scoop out. We recently switched to the multi cat scented formula and I’m not sure how much it helps with the smell as the original style was adequate and only one of our cats bury but it does make the box smell better during cleaning. As long as they keep making this stuff we’ll keep using it.

Exactly what was needed
Our 7 yr old Siamese has a rash on his belly and regular fresh step litter sticks to it and gets into the creases and causes issues, since it sticks to his belly it ends up all over the house so I opted to try this and so far it’s been a game changer, it still sticks a little but it’s nothing like regular litter and if it sticks it’s easier to pick up around the house. The only thing is it’s hard to tell what is used and when to clean the little box so I just have to pick and choose what l think is used but it’s still better than the alternative right now. I get the 12lb bags, easy to handle and not heavy, no dust involved.

Best change I did from regular litter
I have 2 cats a kitty and adult cat. Just started using this when my kitty was spayed 3 months back and have been using it ever since. This is my first alternative to regular cat litter so I may try other options. Also noticed their paws are super clean since using this litter. This does NOT hold urine smell for long or the poop smell. It DOES absorb the urine very well, no seeping to the bottom at all. I scoop out more often approx. 3x a week and change it more often. I definitely feel like I’m spending more money than I did for regular cat litter. However, I am loving how easy it is to clean as well as scoop out. I change completely once a week and it takes literally 7 minutes. After working 9-5 during the week, cleaning and changing the box has been an easy dream. I literally used to plan for it like a chore. There is nothing stuck on the bottom and surprisingly the box is completely clean when I dump it all out. I have not had to drag it out to clean stuck on litter from the bottom. No tracking other than a pebble now and then. Mopping the floor in the area is fantastic now because there is no litter sand stuck or tracked down the hall. Being that I like this alternative and there were not many alternatives years ago, I may keep looking for something better regarding absorbing smell and more affordable. I purchase the big bag about every two weeks, where regular litter for this size would last a month. The easy clean up and clean paws is mostly why I won’t go back to regular litter.

Great, especially to train a new kitten
This is great litter for people who are phobic about all of that Clay in particle litter getting on their floor even with a cat mat these are larger pellets and we trained a new kitten on these and it’s fabulous. You sweep up a couple pellets off the floor occasionally you do you absolutely must have a scooper to scoop out the solid and also to be sure you scoop out the darker wet expanded spots of pellets that absorbed urine. Otherwise, the urine smell will stay. You have to remove the wet pellets, as well as the poop some of the expensive litters last longer like pee, pee, husk glitter, but this was much cleaner for the floor, and we did not have the stress of constantly sweeping up cat tracking will just use more frequently and love the fact that no one complains about cat litter being tracked anywhere and we don’t have a mat to shake out it’s just that you definitely have to remove the pellets that have soaked with urine after they have absorbed it

Please don’t ever go out of business!! Love this litter and so does my cat!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this stuff is amazing! I originally bought it because my kitten was having surgery and I wanted something safer for her to use. Well, after using this for a month I am NEVER going back to T!dy C@ts. I don’t even know where to begin. I was worried she wouldn’t use this litter, but she did. I did not mix it with her normal litter, I just poured enough in to cover the bottom of her litter box. She was using it an hour later. Now the parts that I LOVE and these are in no particular order. There is NO DUST, NO SMELL, NO TRACKING or KICKING LITTER, AND NO STICKING TO THE BOX! This stuff is priceless! I change the litter out every week before trash day and zero smell. I have a strong sense of smell and this stuff is the BEST! It’s also light weight and does not fall apart! I came on here today to order more and have it auto shipped, that’s how much I love it. I have never been so happy to change a litter box. Everything just slides out and I can hold a trash bag in one hand and the litter box in the other. I literally just called everyone I know with a cat to tell them to order this stuff and how extremely happy I am with this product. Apparently, you can scoop the used litter out, but I haven’t needed to do that. That’s how much odor control this stuff has. Well done, litter people, well done!

Zero Odor Control
I purchased this as a replacement for the discontinued “Yesterday’s News” for our rabbit. I’ve always used paper pellets for the buns and never had a problem with the prior product in the 10 years or so that I had used it. I always bought the unscented variety and liked it because it had no baking soda in it. I am madly disappointed in this product as it is absolutely horrendous for odor control! I could not IMAGINE replacing my cat litter with this if it can’t handle rabbit pee! It absorbs urine exactly as it should, and is easy to scoop out of the box when I clean it out. That is no different than the other, discontinued product. And rabbit doesn’t seem to mind it either, even though we much prefer to have unscented litter for him because he is very sensitive and fragile. However, when I change his litter box, it is already SCREAMING at me the next day when I go down to the pet zone. I can smell it from the top of the stairs… it is that bad! No amount of deodorizing covers it up for long enough. I have to scoop this thing out every day and it still stinks!! The fresh, perfumed smell of the unsoiled pellets is not terrible by any means. I actually quite like it. But I was very surprised at how bad the smell is once it is soiled and I will not be purchasing this anymore. My second bag is my last bag. I will be trying equine pine pellets to see if they offer better order control because this is so crazily terrible!

Works well but is non-scoopable with any scoops I could find.
How do you scoop this stuff? If you read the literature, something I failed to do, the recommended routine is to change it ALL out maybe once a week. That just doesn't fit us. I'm 80 and my wife is 76 and for us a long handled scoop is all that works since we both have back and joint problems commensurate with our ages. No doubt this is good litter and does what it claims. It's not perfect, but it did work just fine, was odor free and all that. But if you're older and infirm and have the largest litter box available you might want to think twice before buying it.

Arena pellet de papel de buena calidad
Arena tipo pellet de papel reciclado, no de madera ni de otro material, y sin aroma. Justo lo que buscaba, aunque el precio me parece un poco elevado.

Best Rabbit Litter
I have been using this litter for years with both of my rabbits and it makes it easy to clean, never really leaves a smell behind when used and my rabbits don't dig at it like other litters. It absorbs really well and I do not think I could buy another type of litter after using this kind.

No dust; no odor; no harm.
I bought this wonderful, fragrance-free litter about three weeks ago to replace the dusty scoopable litter I've been using--the litter that claimed to be dust-free but coated the furniture with grey dust, and which I recently discovered contained silica. I was horrified at the impact this kind of litter may be having on my health and my cat's. Finally, I found "Fresh News," and my and my cat's asthma has improved. (If only I had known sooner!) The litter is very absorbent, and even though my elderly cat urinates copiously, there's no odor. When he defecates--which he never covers--I simply pour a bit of "Fresh News" over it and the odor immediately disappears! Every night, I scoop out the wet litter (it turns dark and expands) and add some fresh litter to the box. Thankfully, there is no dust; nor does it track on the floor or stick to his paws. Cleaning the litter box is no longer a horrible chore involving gunky wet blobs of urine, mushroom cloud-type dust, and litter all over the floor. Plus, it's reassuring to know that "Fresh News" is less harmful to the environment. Finally, although my cat was initially hesitant to step on the unfamiliar litter pellets, I added a little shredded paper on the top to soften it, and he's fine with it. I'll never switch to anything else.
