Good rugged, fit and finish aluminum box to store paperwork in the field, with a separate compartment for the storage of work done and small section for a quick grab of paper work at a touch. Third compartment comes handy for storage of write utensils.

The metal storage clipboard is an amazing product for me to use as an educator and a therapist. This product enables me to store both evaluation tools and forms in one place. It is portable, sturdy, easy to use, and very functional. This product helps me stay organized and perform my job easily and smoothly, with the things I need at my fingertips.

Using this for doing notes and quotes for a handyman business, and this clipboard works well -- large enough to hold paper, business cards, a small tape measure, flashlight, pencils, etc. Because I am using it as a "mini toolbox" with all these items, I used some adhesive-backed velcro to keep everything from sliding around (which is loud in the hollow aluminum box). As other reviewers mentioned, the corners are sharp, so I am careful when placing it on customers' tables (to avoid scratches). The clip at the top of the clipboard is strong, and holds papers even in wind. A small improvement would be to have the clip be "deeper"... it only holds the top 3'8" (approx) of the pages. I would prefer if I could insert the first 3/4" under the clip, for more security. Even with the minor complaint, it does what I need it to! :)

It's a solid, sturdy metal clipboard with good storage space. The two compartments hold a lot of papers and the clip is strong. The only reason i dont like more is because the metal writing surface isn't great. It leaves marks on the paper and feels a bit hard to write on for long. Works okay for quick notes, but not the most comfortable.

In a work truck, I have seen these things take a decent amount of abuse. If the top gets caught on something and bent, it can be brutal. Not too heavy, and you can bend it back pretty easily. Size is perfect for a note pad. I wish the pencil compartment had a tighter fit to the top surface because utensils will end up floating around the inside after being knocked around. Top clasp is great though.

Great and sturdy for those who are in air cadets Canada and are junior ncos. It can carry papers, pen, markers, folders, even phone. A fantastic clipboard for ftx because it is waterproof and sturdy. Recommended!
