Does its job and holds my two lithium type 24 batteries. Just upgraded from lead acid type 24 to dual lithium batteries and this box works perfectly. There's a little extra room in the box so I used some packing foam (not styrofoam) to put in between my batteries and in front and back so they wouldn't shift around. I also drilled a few holes to allow water to drain. The foam is dense and about 1/2 inch thick. Similar to the foam pool noodles material. It was used to hold my new lithium converter so it worked out well. I used four 5/16 hex self tapping screws to hold the box in place and made sure to put the straps under the box before doing that. Didn't use and of the hardware other than the straps. The box looks nice and straps seem to hold the lid on securely. The box I replaced that came with my camper was also a camco box (single battery).

Perfect for my two group 24 deep cycle AGM batteries. The previous boxes weren't even attached to the tongue. The previous owner just relied on the weight of the batteries to keep them in place. When I went to install my batteries, the batteries would hit the front of the travel trailer so I realized why the boxes weren't attached. If they had been screwed or bolted to the tongue, there's no way you would be able to get the batteries in! So, I found this great product and it worked perfectly for me. It allows me to have both batteries sit, and because it rotated the orientation of the batteries 90 degrees, the batteries can easily drop into the box without hitting the front of the trailer. I just bolted some new cross members to the frame and then attached this box to those cross members. Fits my batteries perfectly and has plenty of room for me to wire the two batteries together. Lightweight but strong, and the price was great.

I wanted to upsize my RV battery and needed a larger battery box. I upgraded to a Lithium Iron Phosphate 230Ah battery. I ordered several boxes, but had to return them all for many reasons. I finally decided to go with this Camco battery box. I mean, if you own an RV, you know Camco. This battery box was the perfect fit. The 230Ah battery fit like a glove. The lid goes on and the straps hold it all together. Installation was a breeze taking about ten minutes including removing the old one. I now have lots of juice for my RV, and a great place to keep and protect it. This box was a fantastic value for the price and I can highly recommend it. It is great quality and very durable. 5 stars from me.

Purchased this for my travel trailer. I was replacing a single battery box with a double battery box. The box looks good and fit right where my old one was. Of course this is twice as wide. My only complaints are that it warped when screwing it down. I was careful not to make it very tight. Also I feel it is several inches taller then it needs to be. At least for my application. Neither of these things would prevent me from purchasing it again.

It works perfect. I put it on a travel trailer, Both batteries are inside ,connected in series. It's built pretty strong but flexible. Plenty of room for 2 batteries, cables.

great box. But I had to use a cresant wrench and spread the angle iron on the base that it sits in. two 6 volt golf cart batteries fit perfectly width wise and had about 2 " to spare lenth wise. good heavy duty box

Perfect!! Exactly the correct size for our new twin 6-volts, sat in the cradle snug but not tight, openings provided in the lid hides the wire access so well you'd think I forgot to wire them. Every Battery box has the same straps...every trailer we've had...I hate the straps, but whatever, nice product! Thanks
