Can you use this with the garritan sound libraries? i already own these.

They say that it has MIDI out, via Bluetooth, so if the Garritan sounds can be triggered by MIDI is should work. You will need to be able to receive the MIDI via Bluetooth though.

Has anybody trying to record into Ableton Live using this device?

Not Ableton but it should work just fine. I recorded into Reaper and Reason

Does this instrument support any Chinese Instrument sounds or fingering?

There are several Asian instruments in the app that the AE-01 connects to. I haven't messed with it but there is a way to do custom key bindings (I think this also requires the app though). The default is a modified recorder fingering system.

Will this help to learn how to play the recorder or any ocarina instruments?

It's really the other way around -- people who can play the recorder can use this instrument to take their range of sounds to another level. PS: A recorder virtuoso would surely disagree with what I just said! A high quality recorder has a quality of sound the Aerophone does not.
