Completely eliminated the odor in the closets around our home. Not that they smelled bad, it's just an older home with a musty smell that I couldn't seem to fully get rid of until I tried this. Now when I open closet doors, there's no smell at all and I'd rather have that than a musty smell. I don't know what other people are talking about that say the bags smell bad because charcoal literally does not have a scent so they should probably just return the product and not give it a bad review because it's doing its job exactly as you would want. I have since sprayed linen sprays within the closets and on the clothes and that leaves a pleasant scent that lingers so now my closets and clothes have a very light, good smelling scent.

We recently had a 10 day power outage due to a wildfire surrounding our area and on our property. Having been evacuated for 2 solid weeks the refrigerator had time to die and all the contents within to turn into Frankenstein's monster of leftovers and rotted food and exploding milk. You can imagine what our house smelled like when we were able to return. Did I mention the temps were over 100 degrees the entire time? That helps. I cleaned. And cleaned. And cleaned some more. Some things the smell came out, but not the refrigerator. I purchased 2 different charcoal deodorizing products, and alas, neither of them worked. The refrigerator was simply a lost cause. In the areas I hung the bags around the house it definitely helped. Just not the refrigerator. It's done for. I wouldn't recommend this for major odor removal just general refreshing needs.

I bought a 6 pack of these for my normal NYC size closet to hopefully remove the musky smell from the closet. I did not have this issue (musky smell) in my previous apartment so I know it wasn't my clothes. Anyway, I put all 6 of these bags hanging inside my closet and after a week I do not notice any difference in smell. The closest is always closed too. Good size, love that they can hang.

Im shocked at how well these worked. I burnt something in the microwave and for a week my house smelled like I was a heavy smoker...... the smell was even in my kitchen cabinets! We have used activated charcoal odor absorbers for a couple years now. As empty-nesters and frequent travelers, rooms sit empty/closed up for a while and these really help to keep things fresh. They are also fantastic for basement areas and stuffed into shoes. I tuck them into inconspicuous areas so they are not super noticeable. Remember to recharge them and replace every two years. I swear by them!

I was reluctant to try these but am glad i made the purchase. We put one in the fridge and it removed the smell of pungent fruits (e.g. rockmellon). We also put one in the car and laundry and its been great.
