how long is the feed tube from the hopper to the trickle output?

From the output to the outer edge of the hopper with the full length arm screwed on is about 2.5"..if you remove the extension piece the length from outer edge of the hopped to output is about 1.5"..the entire length of the tube from inner edge on the handle side to the output is about 4"

Why is mine so hard to turn off when it has powder? in it. Almost takes 2 hands and barely trickles powder

I'm on my second one because I broke first one trying to turn the knob. This is doing the same. I'm guessing it's the powder size. CFE223. Worthless.

Does this work with Trail Boss powder?

Based on a quick Internet search, you will see that Trailboss meters rather well by volume. Have not tried it in a trickler though. Tricklers work excellent for ball and stick powders.
