I bought this album... probably like 6 or 7 years ago and I'm still listening to it! Love it!

A few great songs, but more so, an incredible album overall. If you concerns you, the explicit warning seems to only apply to the non song interludes and could easily disappear from your playlist. There is some musical brilliance here that is worth listening to. This is a classic that you'll listen to over and over now...and twenty years from now you will reach for when feeling nostalgic. I'm pretty excited for the next iteration of the group. Bring on DVD...or will it be BETA? Which direction are we going here???

I tracked this album down and bought it because I liked the song in the Jeep commercial. That would be "Renegade," a fantastic song. The rest of the album is pretty good, although it might take a few listens through to fully appreciate. The other songs are not as upbeat and pop-sounding. The band has a unique sound, low and throaty, that grows on you. A few of the other tracks are pretty catchy too. There are some short audio clips inserted between the song tracks, which was pretty annoying at first, but you learn to ignore.

there is not one less-than-great song on this cd....not one! All of their cd's are great...VHS is moreso. Absolutely fantastic cd, only thing I do not understand is why it has not recieved more airplay, the first fantastic trac [Renegade] is used in the current Jeep commercials, but cracky the entire cd should be heard........you DJs'/radio stations are missing out on some terrific music.Snap the hell out of it...the rest of you....buy more X Ambassador's music!

I first discovered this band on the radio from their hit song Renegades and dug deeper to see that they had created the X Ambassadors. Great up beat songs that are catchy, my only wish is that they were more songs on this. Overall, a great album and a great band- You won't be disappointed!

Hi, everybody! :O). I sorta-kinda bought this cd on a whim, as I liked the song 'Renegades', as I'd heard a piece of it on a recent JEEP commercial. Outside of random "mumblings" (Which sometimes are kind of amusing), IN-BETWEEN SOME SONGS, it is a solid overall album, and I mean that. It's got some other songs BESIDES 'Renegades', which I already like as much. AND, I'll further say, that if you can get past the random talk in-between A FEW songs, (the 'talking' DOES NOT OVERLAP ANY SONGS, WHICH IS GREAT!), THEN IT IS A PRETTY SOLID GOOD OVERALL LISTEN, AND I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE - X AMBASSADORS / VHS - ALBUM, 4 STARS, IF THEY HAD LEFT THE TALKING IN-BETWEEN SONGS, OFF OF IT. (TOO MUCH INFORMATION, GUYS!) OVERALL, I AM HAPPY I BOUGHT IT. IT WILL NOT COLLECT TOO MUCH DUST?, LOL, IN MY COLLECTION, AT LEAST FOR A WHILE... OH, AND ONE FINAL NOTE, PLAY THIS CD ON GOOD SPEAKERS, IT IS ONE OF THOSE ALBUMS WHERE THE QUALITY OF THE SPEAKERS REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE, ESP. ON 'RENEGADES'...

I love these guys. The voice of the lead singer is just so good. You can just hear the emotion in his voice. Such heart in his songs. My favorite is Renegade. I can't hear that song enough to ever get tired of it. In fact I heard this song on the radio a year or so ago and I thought it was Bono from U2. They have an uncanny resemblance in voice. Finally I found out it was these guys and I love the whole album. I am not terribly interested in the talking parts in it. They could have certainly left that out. But the songs are fantastic.

Got this last week and I'm thrilled with it. Most people know "Renegades" and "Jungle" and they are good additions. I really like "Unsteady", "Gorgeous" and "Loveless" but the rhythms in "Fear" and "Nervous" really define the album. I have to admit I ripped this to my computer without the interludes - it made a tremendous difference. Sorry guys, I'm sure they mean something to you but they got in the way of the music. Love this and would recommend everyone buy it.

I heard Renegades on the car advert and loved the song. After googling to enquire what the song was and who the band were I decided helped by other reviews to send for the VHS cd. Im not disappointed and love the album im also pretty sure their popularity is going to increase here in the uk. Well worth the money.
