Excellent quality, versatility, and price. Too bad it's been discontinued.
Best mouse I've owned, and very sad it's been discontinued. An upgrade from the G602. Pros: - Six side buttons and two additional buttons by the left click. - Side scroll on the scroll wheel. - Scroll wheel unlock allows the scroll wheel to free-spin for rapidly scrolling long pages. - Bluetooth/Lightspeed quick toggle allows quick swap between devices. - Quality materials make the mouse feel comfortable to hold, and the scroll wheel has a very satisfying weight to it. - All keys are fully reprogrammable (aside from scroll wheel unlock and lightspeed/Bluetooth toggle). By downloading the Logitech program you can reprogram all mouse functions, including left/right click and scroll up/down/left/right. You can use the program to automatically switch between key bind profiles depending on which app you are using or you can set (up to 3 I believe) profiles on the mouse itself, which will be usable on any device you connect the mouse to. You can set one key to switch between profiles, as well as set a "G-Shift" key that toggles all key binds while you have that key pressed. This allows a huge amount of key bind customization. - I do not play games competitively, but I have never had issues with input lag. I use the lightspeed dongle for my gaming PC, and the Bluetooth connectivity for anything else (I believe you can have 3 devices paired at a time, though I'm not positive as I only have 1 other device I connect regularly). That said I have used the Bluetooth connection for gaming on many occasions and I personally don't notice any input lag. - The mouse runs on 1 AA battery, and in my experience will run on that battery for slightly less than a year. - Pocket for the lightspeed dongle and on/off switch allows you to easily pack up the mouse and toss it in a travel back for transport without worrying about losing anything or draining the battery. - I bought this mouse for $65, and I would have paid much more for it. Cons: - The Logitech G-Hub program (and its predecessor before it) can be really annoying to use, and sometimes fail to correctly switch your profile to the correct program-specific setup, leaving you without your key binds in-game. Never had any problems with profiles saved to the mouse though, so manual profile toggle still works great. - The use of AA instead of a rechargeable battery may not be preferable to some. I find it convenient, but perhaps it is more wasteful of resources. I tend to get slightly under a year of use out of 1 battery. Additional Info: - After ~3.5 years of use the right click stopped working. By this time the mouse was discontinued and there were no other mice like it that I could find, so I bought a new chip and took the mouse apart to replace the old one. The chip cost me $14 on eBay and the repair was simple (though there are many screws and parts, so take pictures and watch a video online first). It seems you can replace almost all of the parts for fairly cheap. - The grip on the thumb rest came up from the plastic underneath it after a couple years, and I had to glue it back down. - Other than that, the quality materials have held up well, and the only sign of wear has been a slight sheen that has appeared on the left/right click buttons and some scratches on the shiny strip down the middle. - This mouse (and the G602 before it) has made my life significantly easier from allowing me extra key binds for gaming to quickly navigating the web. Well worth the cost.

Great MMO Mouse
Really like this mouse a lot it is my first MMO Mouse I ever owned and I am enjoying using this mouse. I was going to buy a standard 12 side button mouse but I felt like it was to much after borrowing my friend corsair mouse for a week bc I kept losing my positioning and it got confusing after a while using it bc the small buttons and no true center button so I went ahead and got this guy. Experience: I usually play FFXIV and ESO and it works great and love this mouse to death as it makes everything whole lot easier for those games and takes load off to be able to move more and have additional buttons to click but if you want this mouse to use for fps I couldn't give a good opinion/review other then you can make it work. I have use only 3 buttons generally for these types of games (melee, lethal and non lethal grenades actions) and had a fine time though but I can see potential of more uses though. Cons: If I had to give it a cons it would be its weight it is a heavier mouse so if that's a game changer I wouldn't recommend getting it especially for fps but I can say you will get used to it within a week and get stronger fore arms :p. The second thing would be I wish the software had mouse buttons instead of assigning button macros to the mouse like F1-F12, etc (Keyboard Buttons) I would of liked to be able to see Mouse button 1-10 that were for the mouse only buttons and not the keyboard that i seen in some wired mouses have. If anything this is a great for first timer looking for a Wireless/Bluetooth MMO Mouse that is simple to use or helpful to be able to work your way up to a 12 button mouse if you want to test the waters. I Honestly like this mouse and I did my research to get this and I don't regret it great product. Notes/Ideas: This is just a suggestion but for a future product idea for the company I would go for a 9 sided button version of this with texture (Mabey a slide adjustable like the wired corsair mouse). I think this would be a great idea for new mmo players looking for a mmo mouse that seems easy to use/press, I think 9 would be perfect number as it is less confusing for players to locate the buttons as they only need to know where the middle button is to know/remember where they are on the mouse and also not to miss click. Honestly these mouse buttons feel perfect already as they are size just right to click and know your position but I believe it can fit another row of 3 buttons at the bottom without a problem and help give more options for players to use while not worrying about a miss click or lose position of what button is which.

Excellent Battery, Buttons are convenient, but software is eh.
TLDR / Summary: Everyone from email checkers to serious gamers would love this mouse. The battery life alone is worth every penny. The only niche group I wouldn't recommend this for is competitive fast-paced shooter gamers. More Detail Below! This mouse is excellent. I'll start with the bad, because it's only one thing: Logitech Ghub software. This is the software you'll need if you want to map all those extra buttons to useful features. It's perfectly fine if you don't game often, but is a bit finicky for some games. This is true for all logitech mouses though, so not a lot of fault on this product specifically and you get used to it. BATTERY: Battery life lasted me approximately 3 months of 8+hrs/day use. I used the maxed 1000hz settings the entire time. Truly unmatched compared to any other gaming mouse. The battery dying just now is what prompted this review in fact. Unfortunately, there's no warning before it dies. It is also a small bummer that there's no charging port where you could utilize rechargeable batteries on this mouse, but it's not a deal-breaker due to the longevity. I use (externally) rechargeable AA batteries anyway. BUTTONS: The primary left/right click and scroll wheel are fantastic. I'm a bit picky about the sound that mouses make, and these switches are not annoying in the slightest. The scroll wheel feels really premium. The multi-function buttons are conveniently placed, but you won't be annoyed by them either. I would recommend this mouse to literally anyone, even if they don't think they have a use for all the buttons. Comfort: For reference, I'm primarily a claw/fingertip grip guy. These are both comfortable for me on this mouse. It is really designed for palm grippers anyway, so everyone should be happy with these ergonomics. To my surprise, I really like the thumb rest too. It adds a lot more control than you'd expect. The mouse is a bit heavy if you're really into twitch shooters, but I enjoy it with typical shooters like battlefield and all other game genres. Typical productivity is not at all impacted by the weight, either. Durability: I threw this mouse haphazardly in the bottom of my suitcase 6 times now and is completely unmarked, despite baggage handlers' best efforts. Bluetooth functionality: I have not tested this yet, will update if I do.

Very nice quality
Great mouse and slightly larger which fits nicely if you have a little bit bigger hands. Great battery life and all the mapping changes you can make on the app is really nice. Only complaint I’ve had is sometimes (rarely but it’s happened) the mouse will disconnect and you have to reset the Bluetooth UsB stick.

Great gaming mouse from Logitech
The Logitech G604 looks and functions as described, I like the dpi buttons location and the side buttons are a nice plus, I’ve already assigned functions to them that streamlined my workflow considerably, I do some gaming, writing, and photo and video editing. The infinite scroll wheel is a feature I didn’t know I needed till I used it, saves a lot of frustration from scrolling, the scroll left and right by tilting the scroll wheel is a major plus. So far I only used it in lightspeed mode over the USB receiver, no interference from wifi as I run my network in 5GHz mode, the response time is indistinguishable from wired mice, I used it in games, mainly Assassin’s creed to no impact on performance whatsoever. I didn’t use the extender cable to plug in the receiver as I have it plugged directly into my usb hub. The weight of the mouse is quite acceptable and only took a half hour of use to get used to as my previous one was lighter, but it posed no problem for me and really that weight is nothing to my hands. The mouse is quite ergonomic and cause no pain or soreness in 4+ hours of daily use. Battery life is good so far, I’ve used it for 10 days now on lightspeed mode and still going, avg 4-5 hours daily, and the software still shows me a full battery, which brings me to... Software! G hub is certainly not the most intuitive thing to use, a bit of a learning curve, but I’m taking it easy and exploring it bit by bit, I’ve already changed my dpi levels, I prefer generally higher dpi as my mouse movements are more twitchy than using full elbow movements, and I’ve played with assigning functions to the G keys. The software is not intuitive but by no means a reason to discourage buying this product. No RGB, fine with it, I’d much rather pay more for functionality than festival lights that would stay hidden under my hand anyway during use. Build quality is great, the mouse looks and feels premium and solid, the buttons are firm with no wiggle, clicking feels soft and produces low soft sounds, which is to my liking. The scroll wheel is metal which makes it a bit louder than average, though not in a bad or distracting way. The battery and receiver cover is solid and holds tightly to the mouse body when in place with no play whatsoever when using the mouse, the rubber textured middle of the mouse, including thumb rest, feels good on the skin. Buttons do not attract fingerprints which is a huge plus, though the part with the scroll wheel has a glossy finish which is a fingerprint magnet. In conclusion, this is a great quality product with all the functionality one would want from a mouse for gaming and work with a great deal of customisation without unnecessary bling, the mouse looks sleek and professional and elevates the look of your workspace, the software could use some improvement but not a deterrent. All in all I would definitely recommend buying this, not only because it’s a quality product, but also for the freedom of wireless! I’ll update my review as I use the mouse and discover anything more to outline. Edit: 1 year 3 months on, The mouse works as good as ever, still looks new, I've been operating it for the last 6 months with a rechargeable battery. Click sound and feel still the same, no degradation to rubber or plastic, even side button labels are intact. one of the best purchases ever. One note: use logitech g hub only to dial in your preferred settings, save the profile to the mouse then use it in on-board mode from then, software mode interferes too much in the functionality for my liking and some functions even work better; I had assigned volume up and down to buttons G8 & G9 and it only worked in tiers, as in I had to repeatedly press the button for the volume slider to move, in onboard mode the duration of the press determined the movement of the volume slider, as in it moved as long as I pressed the button, same thing with side scroll.

Nice mouse
I was looking back through my Amazon purchase history. In 17 years, I've purchased 6 mice, all Logitech. I've always loved my mice to death. Even though I no longer play MMOs, I still buy gaming mice, maybe out of habit. If I ever start playing again, I'm ready! Anyway, this is replacing a G602 that lasted for 4.5 years almost exactly. The mouse wheel suddenly went pffft a couple of weeks ago. It still works, but it's loose and "slidy" now. That mouse is now relegated to my laptop. This 604 is almost the same exact design, except it's more lightweight, the side buttons are easier to press because the shape has been redesigned, and the mouse wheel noticeably clicks whereas the 602's was smooth. I admit I prefer the smooth scrolling. The clicky feel will take a bit getting used to. This mouse also only takes one AA battery and, when using the USB dongle, it's supposed to last up to 240 hours. It can also connect via Bluetooth, which will apparently extend battery life to over 5 months. At least that's the spiel from the Logitech website. If it's true, that's pretty incredible. And also important, the mouse is aesthetically pleasing and feels nice in my hand. One feature that's cool (that I probably won't use) is the lightspeed button. Because this mouse can connect via USB dongle and Bluetooth, you can have this mouse connected to two devices at once. So you could have the dongle on your PC, hit the lightspeed button to switch to Bluetooth, and start seamlessly using it on your laptop. That's pretty cool. Note: I had trouble installing the mouse software on two different computers. I'd click the executable and the installer just wouldn't launch. It's apparently finicky. If you have that problem, try restarting your computer and hitting the executable first thing. That fixed the issue for me on both computers.

Old Friend, You Will Not Be Forgotten
this mouse lasted me about 6 years. this mouse has seen countless Warframe missions, countless hours long gaming sessions with friends, countless failed missions, and many times more successful ones this mouse has seen frozen peaks, scorching deserts, countless firearms and melee weapons, countless hours in a browser finding information on the video games i'm playing it's seen dozens of configurations and setups for hundreds of games, it's seen drops, spills, nearly dead batteries when the squad's rushing to extraction it's seen opened messages where a friend needed someone right that moment, it's seen emergency calls at midnight to talk friends down from bad decisions it's seen all that and more. it's survived for years, it's survived all of that, and never once has it let me down, had an issue, or moved in a way that betrayed me. this mouse has seen me build most of my digital life from my first email account, to my first Steam game, to learning Linux, everything. this mouse has been with me for the overwhelming majority of my digital journeys, and not once has it failed. i'm writing this review a few months after i have elected to give it retirement, in favour of an ASUS ROG Spatha X, but should i ever need it again, i have no doubts it will do what i need it to. this is the best gaming mouse i have ever owned, it fits perfectly in the hand, the original MSRP is great, the software is perfect, and the responsiveness is instant. it's earned its retirement, and it will not be forgotten. retire well, my old G604.

Frustrated to Disgusted. Not made for girl hands.
I needed a mouse for small hands. A gaming mouse with the extra buttons. I swear no matter what you always end up with this boulder sized things and this is no different. If god sent me this I would still throw it in the trash just because it's gigantic. Make a gaming mouse that is actually appropriately sized for people without bear paws for hands and I'll give it good review. From now one every time I get another "gaming mouse" that is really "we're too lazy to make this for normal people and women" i'm just going to give it one star. Why? That's who I bought it for. Figure it out. There are other sizes to humanity besides "giant". Updating my review: - scrolling the mouse quickly backwards causes it to scroll forwards sometimes. this seems to occur when the game reaches max camera distance. - there are 3 upper buttons and 3 lower buttons for the thumb: a) the three upper buttons are actually button 1, 2, and 3 on the keyboard. b) the bottom three buttons are mouse function 2, mouse function 1, and... non-functional I guess. They do nothing in game and so... well... what the heck is the point?? This seems to be the common thing with "gaming mice". You think you are getting extra buttons, but they already keyed to buttons you already have. Where not they do nothing at all. I absolutely love logitech. Pretty much all of our stuff is logitech, but there was a bit of absence in the logi this time. Scroll isn't scrolling properly and this lower back key isn't connecting with anything in-game. Maybe it works for the games, but this was going for competitive play. Another thing that I don't understand is the shape of the thumb area. The curve of a regular mouse would have the thumb buttons be such that to rest the thumb forwards triggers function and to move the thumb back onto the under knuckle is function 1. This makes sense . "Forward, backward". Very logical. This mouse? The back potion is in the curve. You've got to fully move the thumb tip back to find it. This is changing reactions times to something dramatically slower. Exactly what you do NOT want for competitive play where a second is roughly the same an eternity. Now, this could have been offset by having that bottom back key actually function. It, however, doesn't. At least not in the game it was purchased for. As such, it just means there's a "void"; literally and figuratively that is non-functional. There are many things I would do differently with this. The thumb area needs to come out to not interfere or reduce response times. Accuracy seems to be off when the mouse sensitivity is up, but it otherwise moves very smoothly over a metal mouse sheet pad. The accuracy needs improved for twice responses. The back mouse button needs to work. The size of the mouse as a whole either needs to be reduced or it needs to have several size options. Scroll needs to work. I think for the thumb keys I would turn them outwards rather than inwards since that's most of their initial problems. You can't reach them. After that I'd be very clear in my mind about what I want from those keys. That they auto-path to 1, 2, 3, bugs me. I already have 1, 2, 3. I need Miscellaneous A, B, C so I can path 5, 6, 7 to them. There are between 20 to 60 quick slots / hot keys / action bars in games you desperately need to have in easy reach. Either because the devs break something so the only option is the hot key it or there are dual functions you're trying to take advantage of... This... doesn't understand that. It's not a logitech singular problem. I'd say 99% of "gaming mice" just don't grasp this. Like someone at a board room said "hey these kids like extra buttons on mice. make one of those" and someone else who had never played a game in their life then did that. the result? all the gaming mice. worthless It's a mouse with extra buttons. does it do what you need for your game? buy it and find out is apparently how these things are sold. more than likely though... it won't do what you need. this isn't doing anything those do unless for some reason you desperately need the 1,2,3 keys to be in easy reach. even then... curves oddly. 50/50 if it will fit your hand or not. it's too big for mine and so isn't likely to fit a girl's. stick 15$ mice with the pretty lights. it's going to give you the same advantage as this will.

Item works well as advertised, seller was responsive.
I like that the product was an improved version of my ageing G602. I decided to buy from this seller as it was offering a very attractive price. However, due to the lunar new year holidays. The shipping process took longer than expected, but the seller was kind enough to explain the circumstances and offered their sincere apologies. In general, I will buy again from this kind seller.

Best Mouse for All-around
If you are looking for a mouse that is feature-rich then this is the one for you. I started to use G602 which is the older version of this mouse. The 6 extra programable keys are so useful for programmers/designers who heavily use keyboard commands. It will make your work a lot faster and easier.

Gran calidad y confort

Best of the BEST
This is the best mouse I have ever used. I normally use the G402 for gaming. That one is light and precise. But this G605 blows it out of the water in terms of precision and smoothness. Plus it is wireless, using a AA battery is less hassle than re-charging the mouse again and again. The side buttons are excellent for most games, FPS including, quick reload, crouch, prone, grenade, melee everything is at your finger tips. I primarily got it for editing. Its wonderful for editing on premiere. Only slight problem is, the mouse is very heavy. That is something the user has to get used to...
