Works!
Works great for keeping deer from eating plants and has a non-offensive smell. Expensive though - glad a gallon of gas or milk doesn't cost this much.

If you want your plants, use this!
It Works! The wife started a few years ago applying this to the Tulips that start coming up in the early spring. To my surprise, the deer sniff and walk away. So i applied it to my garden last year and fruit tree areas. I took care to spray on the leaves of the corn and other plants, with a 4' border spray surrounding the garden. I had tracks in the garden, but no noticeable damage to the plants. We tried cayenne pepper and other concoctions and nothing worked like this does. We bought the gallon this time as it was cheaper per ounce, and we are sold on it's results. No detriment to the plant that we noticed.

We’ve bought this more times than I can count — and that says everything ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We live in an area where deer literally treat our yard like a salad bar. Hostas, hydrangeas, you name it they are gone overnight if we’re not on top of it. The secret we’ve learned? Start spraying the second your hostas pop up in spring. Don’t wait until you see damage. If you deter them from the start of the season, they move on and don’t come back looking for more. Yes, it needs to be reapplied — nothing stays on forever after rain, and that’s just the reality with any product. We found every two weeks works best and keeps the deer moving along. In late summer when food gets scarce and deer get more desperate, we get a little more diligent with the schedule. Another tip: if you have a large area, buy the concentrate and mix it yourself — way more cost effective than the smaller sizes. It doesn’t smell like something died in your garden either, which is a huge win. We spray on a regular schedule and our gardens stay intact all season long. Worth every penny to protect what you’ve spent years building. 🦌🚫

Works but there are caveats
I've been using Deer Out for a few years now and can say that it does genuinely work and will help to give your garden a chance against the incessant deer but you shouldn't expect this to solve the issue entirely as the deer will still taste test the plants on an all too frequent basis in hopes of catching your plants without that minty goodness applied and, if your neighborhood is densely populated with deer like mine is, that would equate to a lot of deer doing a lot of testing all over the garden which means it's still being eaten to a degree. Oddly, I've experienced a very small portion of deer that just don't seem to care about the deterring taste of Deer Out or are possibly just hungry enough to ignore it as I've had numerous plants eaten to the ground within a day or two of being liberally sprayed from all angles. It should be noted that it must be reapplied after rains and I've even had to reapply on a more frequent basis due to my sprinklers, which adds up quick especially as this product is incredibly expensive. Prior to using this product, the deer would eat my entire garden to the ground without fail. Using Deer Out has helped a lot in that now I have a full grown flowering garden but I realistically expect to have deer check most of the plants out, nibble all over the place, and completely demolish at least one of their favorite plants per month. It doesn't prevent 100% of the issue but it greatly helps. The only other issue to consider is the total price compared to how much it would cost to just simply replace plants in your garden throughout the year. I never thought that future me would keep spare hostas growing in pots so that I could rotate them in to my garden on a monthly basis but here I am. I've resorted to using protective netting over certain parts of the garden so that I don't have to constantly spray every single plant and that's worked quite well but I can't realistically cover the entire garden with netting, as is, thus the need for Deer Out.

Excellent product, works better than anything else I have tried.
I am a gardener of many years and this is my go to product to stop the deer!!!!! The secret: spray early before they get a taste, spray after a heavy rain and spray consistently every 2-3 weeks! Excellent product
