An awesome quartz field watch for very little money
I really like this watch from Infantry. It is a sleek, cool stealthy design that goes well with any kind of outfit. It's got a Japanese movement inside it so you know the minutes don't "jump" around when setting it. Also, the date function on mine is still working just great. It's also got mineral glass instead of acrylic. Comes on a nice NATO strap too! Hard to believe it's only 20 bucks.

Good watch, nice large numbers.
Nice watch. Not illuminated, but luminous hands and dial are easy to read at night. Day/date display is easy to adjust but must avoid doing so between 5PM and 9AM. Seems to be very accurate so far and time is fairly easy to synchronize. No problems with scratched crystal so far, and I wear this watch 24/7. Very long band should fit any size wrist.

Great value
For the value hands down this is an amazing watch. It has heft to it. Not cheaply built. And the glow in the dark is perfect for those low light situations. The band is very good quality again not cheaply made. I would recommend ths watch for daily use. Also the black one is a classic look.

A great value field watch!
I wanted to give this watch about a week on the wrist before giving my opinion on the watch. I base my decisions on a new watch off the price point and then the overall value that the watch offers for that price. For under $30, you're getting a really nice value in my opinion. The hardened mineral crystal is flat and clear which I like and I was not expecting to get any sapphire crystal at this price point so I have no complaints there. The day/date function is awesome as I like to have a date function. The day of week complication is just icing on the cake for me personally. I do want to point out that the case appears to be made of a metal alloy that gives this really nice sandblasted finish effect. Its not quite matte, not quite pearlescent, but gives some shine that looks great! The NATO strap that the watch comes on is nice quality and what I would expect if I were to pay $10-$15 for a strap from amazon so I appreciate the quality of the hardware on the NATO strap right out of the box. Being quartz, I can tell that this movement is decent, as there is little to no bounce in the second hand and I know the battery life will last for quite a long time before needing to be replaced. With 50M of water resistance, I don't have to worry about this watch being out in the rain or outdoors, which is great peace of mind. Lastly, the lume on the dial is quite bright for this price point. It's not BG9 superluminova or anything like that, but it glows brightly and lasts for a reasonable amount of time. Much longer than many other inexpensive watches I own that have lume on the hands/dial. Hope that helps! For an inexpensive field watch, I definitely recommend this one from MDC/Infantry!

Clear Adjustment Directions
This is a very nice looking watch and it has clear and simple explanations to set the time and day and date. I am a graduate engineer and I have had digital watches that I could not adjust following the terrible directions that came with the watch!

Solid, if basic, cheap watch.
This is a solid, if basic, quartz watch. It keeps good time, and the NATO strap is comfortable. Though some have had complaints about it's waterproof rating, I've had no issues with that. But... The lume (glow-in-the-dark) is pretty weak and doesn't last long. I expected that, but it actually bothers me more than I thought it would. The date window is small and hard to read; which is fine because a month after I got it, it lost the ability to change the date (April has 30 days, but I can't skip over the 31st to the 1st) If I cared about the date function, that would be a deal breaker.

Good value, well...not so fast...
Good bang for the buck! Highly visible and readable dial, precise markings, durable enough for every day wear by a home inspector, and I am pretty rough on watches. Luminous paint leaves something to be desired, but this is fairly typical of most low or moderately priced watches. I would buy it again. 2/28/2026 - So let's review it now over time, and I am less impressed. Above was my initial review, and I did buy it again. Why? I wore the first one for over a year. Operation was flawless. Time was highly visible. The case developed some dings and scratches, but I was okay with that. I have learned in over 60 years that I am tough on watches. I was even okay when the crystal developed some cracks. My fault. And then some of the cracks got bigger, and some small chunks of it fell out inside the crystal, just floating around between the crystal and the dial. Being clear, I didn't even see them at first, until it wasn't keeping time anymore. I realized the chunks would sometimes block the second hand and stop the watch. Shake it and move the chunks around, it starts again. Okay, still my fault. Thought about trying to have the crystal replaced, but for the price of this I just ordered a new one. Same great initial experience. But this time, the crown was so easy to pull out that almost anything would do it. Put my left hand in my pocket and it pulls the crown out, 6 times out of 10. Crown out=watch stops. I would not know it until two hours later, when I am late for something. Couldn't live with that. Returned it and got another. Not my problem; this one was on the watch. Third one had a stiffer crown operation. Much better. Didn't have the same issue and initial satisfaction was good. It has another issue however, that being that it intermittently and inconsistently loses time. Some days it might lose 5 minutes. Some days it might lose 5 minutes an hour, but not every hour. Some days it might lose 20 minutes in an hour. Some days it might lose 30 minutes a day. Some days it might keep perfect time. You just never know what you are going to get. And you never find out until you are late for something, quite often late for something you have promised to do for your wife. This one was also on the watch. Possibly it is a failing battery, but I am fundamentally opposed to paying a jeweler $20 to put a battery in a brand new $20 watch? The old maxim still holds: You get what you pay for. Inconsistent time keeping is worse than none at all. With the inconsistent quality, I will look for something else, even if it costs moe.
