Hicarer 4 1/16 Inch Gold Replacement Clock Insert with Gold Bezel

This is a great little clock insert. I used it with a clock that I made from sapele and it looks great. So far the movement has been consistent and there hasn't been any loss in time. As one review mentioned, the only caveat is that it can sometimes be difficult to read the hands on the clock. I built this clock with a back panel, but found that it worked better without the back panel so that it allowed the light to shine through from behind.

Would definitely and have bought more since I first bought the first one , they look great! Easy to install providing you have the right diameter.

I was fortunate to find this clock that fits an old surround for a Linden clock that no longer works. It appears to be well made and a good buy for the price. This is not a silent continuous movement, but ticks away like an old clock. The only nit I have is that the hands are hard to read unless you have really good light. You can see from the photo that the hands don't stand out from the background inner works. I haven't checked it out to see if I can take it apart and paint the hands.

I got this to replace what seemed like was a plugin clock motor but was too loose without the rubber part but was really tight with it on. Sort of wish it came with a smaller version or some other retainer setup. It was tricky to hold the rubber part in place as was not attached. Simple to set twist the brass ring and turn the knob, to change battery though the entire clock will have to be removed.

I have been using this clock for over a year in a mantle clock base I made. It looks nice and keeps accurate time. I can recommend this clock without hesitation.

Fits perfectly. My old clock from about 30 years ago died and I needed a new one. This one installed in less than a minute and works great.

Hands are difficult to read from distance

Good looking face, fits my glass crystal clock better than the original face and movement.

I used this as an insert into a scrap wood piece. It's very hard to tell the time especially from any sort of distance. The arms and colors don't have enough contrast from eachother. It seems to keep accurate time
