Clip Pins are Bent and Misaligned
Several Clip Pins are bent and misaligned so some don't contact the IC pins and others short out IC pins. Update: 11/12/2020 Returned and replaced. Replacement seems to be working well.

Life saver
I managed to brick the unit in my Mazda Miata doing a recent software upgrade. After some research and failures with other clips I tried this one out. It connected to the chip first time and I was able to flash the chip and save myself $1300 for a new unit Money well spent even if it was a one time use

Wired incorrectly and plastic tips too long
Unfortunately there were two major problems with this unit that made it unusable. The plastic extended several millimeters past the metal tips of the clamp. I had to sand it down very gently to fit properly on the pins. Additionally, the wire connector had the wires put on incorrectly! After unsuccessful attempts at making a connection, I had no idea why it wasn't working. Then I got up my multimeter and checked: pins 1 and 2 are swapped as well as every other pairing! I would fix it myself if the connection and wires were not so small and delicate. I don't know if there was a new factory worker that day that didn't know what they were doing, but this is extremely disappointing.

Great clip, wrong adapter provided
Good SOIC16 test clip, however the adapter it arrived with to connect to the programmer was a DIP8 adapter. Unable to use this product for my SOIC16 chips as intended.

Good tool - small adjustments
This is a great tool to have. The only thing I noticed is sometimes the pins on the clamp will get pushed up. You'll need to push them back or you'll have a weak connection.

Didnt get to use so 3
Module I got to use this with was defunct. Drivers, apps, and directions did nothing for it. 3 to keep this even.
