Works great for my Nexar Beam camera on a Ford Maverick. I couldn’t use the GPS attachment on the camera itself anymore but that doesn’t matter if you connecting it to your phone.

I was tired of the glue windshield thing for my dash cam. With this one I don’t have the problem anymore when is hot or cold and the mount coming off all the time due to the weather. Very easy to install. I don’t understand the extra little things but just with the normal mount is enough.

I decided to get a dashcam mount for my Nexar Beam because the suction mount would fall off on sunny days. I wanted a mount that can securely attach to my rearview mirror since I can run the cable through the same hole as my mirror. This mount arrived quickly and had plenty of different fitments for various types of dash cams. Upon opening the package, I noticed that the pieces were not of the best quality. Most parts are made from plastic, and the plastic looked worn and dirty. I tried to use a Clorox wipe to remove some of the dirt, but you can still see the uneven texture. Despite this, the mount is still secure and does its job well. Installation was very straightforward. First, find the screw and mount fitment needed. I used the short screws and mounted the clamp to my mirror first, making sure to properly align the included silicone strip to protect my mirror. Then, I attached my Nexar Beam to attachment that required a pin and bolt (I'm unsure what it is called). Finally, I turned on my dashcam and streamed the video to make sure that I can tighten the mount to get the right camera angle. I decided to tilt the mount upwards so that my camera can obstruct my windshield a little bit less. Finally, plug in your dashcam and tuck the wires. Overall, I decided this mount was "good enough" to keep. I would like a cleaner, newer looking mount, but this one seems secure enough to not return.

I loved my dashcam always recording as I drove, but what I didn't love what it constantly falling down. At least once a month I'd get to my car and find my dash cam hanging from the power cord tucked into the car ceiling. There it would be, just dangling, and looking all stupid. I finally couldn't take it anymore. I was going to buy a new dashcam that mounted to my rear mirror, but then I came across this wonderful product. I didn't see my model dashcam immediately listed as compatible, but I ordered anyway after seeing all of the various mount options that came in the package. Sure enough, there was a slide-in mount that fit perfectly on my dashcam. Getting the mounting piece that attaches to the rear mirror was a little tricky and would probably work better with two people holding it in place while someone else tightened the nuts, but after a little fumbling I did it on my own, and now, my dashcam is securely mounted to my rear mirror and I'll never see it dangling from that ridiculous suction cup ever again. It's perfectly sturdy and solves my problem for a very reasonable price. Everyone with a suction mount that's tired of it falling down should invest in this kit.

Single wing nut failure makes the entire assembly useless. After opening the bag and sorting through the tens or twenties of mounting options I found on that fit the best and attempted install. I kept spinning and spinning and spinning one of the wing nuts on the bracket that is designed to clamp on the rear view mirror. Nothing ever tightened up and the wing nut kept falling off the carriage bolt. After removing the wing nut and inspecting closer it didn't catch the threads of the bolt. No damage to the bolt or the nut, it just seems like the wing nut is one size too big. Trying the wing nut in every other supplied bolt gave the same results. Using a different wing nut on the offending bolt shows it tightens up and the bolt is not the problem. There are no extra wing nuts supplied, rendering the entire assembly useless.

Works very well and eliminates the need to lick and stick suction cup mount. Cleaner look and less noticeable to thieves. Won't work on alot of newer vehicles because of late model mirror mount shapes and blacked out portion of windshield covering sensors.

Works with the dash camera very well. Its a good design the only downside is that it becomes loose and needs readjusting often.

This was a good solution for an Insignia dashcam whose suction-cup mount started falling off in warm weather, then eventually stopped holding at all. This universal mount came with many adapters, and one fit the Insignia dashcam perfectly. It was easy to attach to the rear-view mirror and has been stable. All in all a great value.
