Awesome technology. Cool smart bulb. Download wiz app and add device following the instructions, it is very easy and fast. Once the bulb is connected with a wifi, you can control it from the wiz app. Your phone NEED NOT be connected to the same wifi. You can control the bulb from anywhere as long as the bulb is connected with a wifi. Turn on and off, schedule on and off, change brightness and colour. There are a lot of preset colour themes or you can select a colour of your choice. There are many features like rhythms, scenes and voice control with Google/Alexa which I haven't tested yet. There is a power outage recovery setting in the app. Suppose you go out of the house for a night. You want to turn the light on remotely at night. So you switch on the light using the wall switch, then turn off it using the app and leave home. Now you can turn on using the app anytime. However, if the power supply goes during this period and comes back, the light may turn on again. To prevent this a setting has been provided, viz; power outage recovery. On the control panel page of the bulb, there is a small settings icon. Go to the "power on behaviour" setting and select "last status". Also from the main settings page, turn on "power outage recovery". Now the bulb will remain off even after recovering from a power cut. However, there are bugs in this. The power outage recovery will work ONLY in night light mode and wake up mode. So you have to leave the light in either of these modes before leaving home. Even if we do this, there are still bugs in the app due to which this setting don't work properly. In addition, sometimes the schedules also are not working correctly. Developers should fix these.

It's a great device with full fledged functionality. This Device needs WIZ app for setup and it also has Alexa, Google and many more cloud integration option to control the device. The WIZ app has many modes of lightings and it also supports dimming and pulse chaser modes and the best thing is the light has power outage recovery mode so that you will never lose your settings even after power cut (when there is a power outage the light will turn off and when power is back the light will be turned off still whereas you will just need to switch on the light via wiz app and the light will turn on with last settings. Make sure to turn on power recovery mode on the wiz app) You will need a router/hotspot to be switched on all the time to set this device and to have the device running, the light will pair with wifi and your phone will pair the light via your wifi (2.4ghz only). Once the setup is done you just need to keep the wifi on all the time and you can also control the light even by mobile data as the wiz app saves the settings on cloud. If you have a room more than 120 sqft then I would suggest to go for 12watt version of this light. Cons- white light is good whereas the colors are of bit low brightness ( specially the light shades and as it's RGB it is unable to make most shades in a perfect proportion but it's more than satisfactory. Yes but the dark shades are superb) than the white light whereas we cannot complain at this price point as it giving functionality and colors at this price range. You can also set the light as an alarm with Google like to turn on the light at 5 a.m. If you ask me for my views on this device I would highly recommend this device. It will surely not disappoint you and will brighten your mood.😇

great bulb, it doesn't have some random chinese software which is just rip-off of smartHome app. it have its own original software (Wiz app). no bugs, no glitches, good options for customisability. and most importantly your bulb wont stop functioning if some servers in china are down. it doesn't consume data for controlling it, it just need wifi for connection and thats it. it can work when network is down, and it can also work with nearby device option (which uses Bluetooth). also works with google assistant but its random, i can say "turn my light to green" and light turns to green. but when i say "turn light to normal" or "turn light to white", it doesnt work. probably google's fault but worth mentioning

This is a very easy to install light bulb that fits the standard bulb holder. And the App is easy to setup. All you need is a 2.4ghz wi-fi connection and you're on your way. The bulb is quite easily detected and then you can have fun changing the colours. I also had purchased the original Philips Hue light some 6 years ago, that required a bulb and a HUB that connected to the router. The whole thing had cost me INR11000 back then. Now there's no HUB and this bulb is only around 700 so it's a fraction of the cost for the same (well almost) effect. I bought two of these and the kids just love playing with the colour changing feature. I am impressed that this bulb also supports automatic sleep and wake up schedule that can be done using the Wiz app. Happy to recommend this.

I got issue with installation with my router .. and it's very hard to understand in the first place whether it's bulb or your router which is not compatible.. I found very hard way. My router is of tplink brand and bulb does not work on my 2.4 ghz tplink 300 Mbps router but ít worked like charm on my mobile hotspot. Only drawback is that it's not part of home system over router but in my case it's okay as I can do bulb settings on my mobile device. Talking bulb light quality with different colors it's great ! You get a decent light. Only issue is that dim mode does not support all the colors. Most colors under dim mode goes almost white so you don't notice any big difference. That's the limitation of product. Otherwise high intensity colors really reflect well and it feels great. Integrated with wiz app and Google home application. Works fine !

Its the perfect product. Its is working the way it is supposed to work. For those who are not able to use it and then finding mistakes in it, are the people who don't have a basic common sense/brain. Its very easy to install and working perfectly well. I was out of city for a week. It was functioning well with two options (1) - Either you can switch on or off when you feel like using your phone. (2) - You can schedule the on or off for a set time using your phone and it will automatically work. You don't have to do anything. Provided your led bulb should be connected to internet and electricity all time (in my case my bulb holder and router are both connected with inverter). That's all you need just. It will solve your purpose.

A Customer's Pain and Strandedness: Unsupported Smart Bulbs Initial Purchase and Functionality • I bought three of them. • Two of them were bought five years back, and one of them was bought four years back. • All of them were working absolutely fine without any issues. The App Upgrade and Loss of Support • They were very fast and responsive without any issues during their lifespan. • Then they upgraded their app, and I had to manually migrate all my bulbs to their new application. • Suddenly, they stopped supporting these. Troubleshooting and Failure • There is no way Alexa or Google Home or anything is connected to these bulbs. • I have tried everything. • I have deleted one of the bulbs, and I am not able to add it back to the app. • Nothing is working, and all the lights are useless, basically making me throw these bulbs out. Final Verdict and Warning • Do not buy them now, not at all. • This is a waste of money, and they are kind of cheaters because they suddenly removed the support. • There are some port issues with them now. • It is all because of their software change because all the bulbs simultaneously stopped working within one day.
