Ziploc Big Bags X-Large

It does it job. I can pack alot of clothes in those bags.

I did not know these existed until I had to move. I wanted to place bathroom articles in them so if anything leaked then it would not mess up other things I was moving. When I got them I was amazed and now I use them for everything. They are so durable. They do not tear and the handles are super strong and do not rip. They can be used over and over too. I place all of my clean sheets and blankets in them with a sheet of bounce before I store them. It is pretty easy to get all of the air out of them manually so they actually can work like a compressed bag. At Christmas I gave each of my family members one to place their Christmas presents in and they loved them. When we went to the beach, I put ten beach towels in one and they stayed perfectly dry. I also placed ice and drinks in the large size and it worked perfectly and they did not leak. We recently had company from out East and they had never seen these before. They loved them and used them to pack things they had purchased for their car trip home. There are so many uses for these. My only complaint is the price variation of the large, extra large and jumbo sizes. In 2022, you could actually get a box of these for about $5.00 to $8.00 for any size, but now certain sellers are trying to charge over $20.00 for one box! It is just blatant price gouging. That is not ok. This seller has kept these Jumbo size bags consistently lower so I always purchase them from this seller only. I would be very disappointed if they hiked the price up and I want to commend them for maintaining a fair price compared to all of the other companies on Amazon. I am sure they do much more business and end up in the long run making a better profit, because they actually sell them. If the price of these continues to trend up over time I will not purchase them anymore. There are actually some generic brands that I also purchased during my move that are reasonable and that I would purchase instead, even though I much prefer these. Depending on the size you order, there are different quantities of bags in them. The Jumbo usually has three bags and these are my favorite. The bottom opens up flat on the bottom making them so much nicer to use. The only problem I have had with these is that I do not recommend them in a suitcase for air travel when you expect the bags to stay closed. A 2 gallon ziplock bag with a plastic sliding closure are much better and will usually stay closed and I double bag them with a freezer bag inside holding any liquids. The last time I traveled, all of the large size type of these bags had come undone in the suitcase and my personal articles were everywhere, so stick to the smaller bags you can get easily at the grocery store for this to avoid ruining your clothing in the suitcase.

I love these bags! They are thick and sturdy and the zipper works well. The XXXL size can stand open while filling it. They are great for storing linens, comforters and pillows, jackets and bulky clothing. You can keep one in the car for bringing home dirty or sandy items. When I go on vacation, I tuck one in my suitcase and put the dirty clothes in it. At the end of the trip all that needs to go back in the suitcase is the bag. They seal tightly. They are hard to find locally so I get them via Amazon.

I had no idea that Ziplock even made baggies this large until I needed some and went on the search. In order to double bag a 21lb turkey to brine for Thanksgiving, I have to use very large bags. Once the bird is inside the double bagged baggies the brine is poured in, baggies are zip locked, the bags are then lowered into a very large cooler/ice chest, covered with ice, and left to rest for 20 to 24 hours. The bird is turned once and the baggies make that very simple by being so easily unzipped and rezipped. Obviously to manage all of that the bags not only have to be large but also have to be sturdy and reliably so. These baggies did not and do not disappoint (usually Ziplock never does). There is plenty of room and then some with no leakage of any of the salty, seasoned brine into the ice chest. When his bath is over, Mr. Turkey is easily lifted out of the cooler still inside the bags and carried to the sink with no drips, no runs, no errors thankfully to the sturdy construction of the baggies and their large size. Of course the possibilities for using these giant Ziplock baggies are endless with the box even hinting at some of them. Storing things such as out of season clothes, sports equipment, hand me down clothes, bulky craft supplies, holiday decorations, beach paraphernalia, extra towels, blankets, and sheets just to name a few. As a matter of fact, I always keep an extra box on hand just in case a need arises for this over-sized commodity. Rather than try to run all over town in search of these baggies, I order them from Amazon with no fuss or worry. I fully realize that not everyone will have the occasion to use these, but if you do it is nice to know they exist and know how to get the job done! I bought these for yarn storage. They are nearly perfect, except for the fact that they are tinted blue which was definitely not evident by any of their advertising photos. It's hard to tell the exact color of the yarn when they're in the bag. I do like them, though. I think there are my best hangable transparent yarn storage option. They are basically sturdy, the zipper is thick and easy to use, and they have carrying handles. They can stand up on their own, though I am hanging them on hooks on the wall in my closet. I have not had any issues with holes in them so far and I would probably trust them for dog food or large food storage options. I also plan to use them for camping, for bedding storage and that kind of thing. Note that in one of my photos, I show a LARGE size bag and an EXTRA LARGE size bag. The size difference is huge. I also bought the jumbo size but after seeing how big the others are already, I returned them. The extra large is good for seasonal clothing storage. I really do wish they were clear as they're advertised but there's no other similar products that will work for me, so I'm happy enough with them. (I bought these on my own without discount for evaluation/review)

Prefer these more than the vacuum type plastic bags. Strong and available in may sizes. I have purchased several times. Would recommend indeed!

Huge!! Too big for what I bought them for but great for bedding and towels and such for the cottage. Sturdy. No rips or tears so far.

clothes season of out storing for Great

Very handy and useful backpack sized bags for me when camping, mountain biking and bushwalking. Quick and easy access to a bag that easily and reliably replaces a far more expensive dry bag or sack.Good quick service and good pricing too. Delivery was quite fast too although the actual package and the individual boxes of ziplock within the package were somewhat crushed and water damaged. Not a big deal though as it didn't impact the integrity or quality of the ziplock ;-D

Strong, good seal, should last long. Wish there were packs of 20!
