Postcards from the New Yorker: One Hundred Covers from Ten Decades Review: GREAT postcards. Especially for PostCrossing - I love this box of postcards!! I am very active on Postcrossing. This box has something for everyone. I live in America, so I like that it's postcards from the New Yorker. Good quality. I'm not worried about them traveling far. Like I mentioned before, it has something for everyone. It can be hard to gather a variety of different subjects and themes when you start PostCrossing. This box would be a great 'starter box' of postcards for those who sign up for PostCrossing. The pictures are beautiful. Color is vibrant. I really enjoy them.. I'm definitely keeping a few for myself. Would buy again! Review: Postcards from The New Yorker - Such a deal! Study card stock, sized for postcard postage, charming New Yorker covers. At 100 cards, about the best deal per card for those of us who use a lot of postcards. As a shut-in on the Left Coast who can't go card-shopping, and who needs to economize, I use postcards to send notes, birthday and anniversary greetings, and to send notes 2-3 times a week to a 99-yr-old aunt in a retirement residence on the Right Coast. Email and other electronic media are nice, but there are times when snail mail, even if just a postcard, is really nice.

So funny pack of postcards from the archives of The New Yorker!
This pack of postcards include 100 different images with The New York covers from the archives of approximately 1930s to 2010s. Have found here a lot of nice pictures on different topics and events (NYC, people, historical events, St. Valentine's Day and other holidays, vacations, some of them - about religion and LGBT). Very often - with a dose of humor. Printed on semi-gloss paper. Deep colors, high detailed. Definitely recommend it.

WOW! VERY SPECIAL!
Just fabulous! Here is a box of postcards of New Yorker covers from the 1920s through 2011. I was really looking forward to them but had some qualms that they might be chosen for their "political correctness" and am happy to say that they were not! In fact, for the most part, these covers appear to have been chosen for their humor, nostalgia, clean lines, story-telling, great colors and somewhat seasonal factors. Not all of my favorites are here, but then I probably have a good deal more than 100 favorites. I have been a subscriber to The New Yorker for many years and the editors deserve heartfelt applause for daring to stay with the artistic covers and for not falling into the trap of alternating movie stars like Vanity Fair and every single other magazine has done to the immense boredom of readers and subscribers. I actually love my weekly New Yorker more for the covers than for the sameness and predictability of the stories and articles. I sincerely hope that by saying this I haven't jinxed these great artists, and Francoise Mouly, the Art Editor of the magazine, is to be congratuated!

Cute, great quality.
When I found these on Amazon I was excited. . . when I received them I was thrilled! Very nice quality, heavy card stock. So many cute covers. I have framed several of them, used them just as postcards & have bought plain craft cards & glued them to the front to make my own notecards. Very very pleased with my purchase. You won't be disappointed.

Review for Postcrossing
I bought this package for Postcrossing, but you will probably need a pretty specific request or direct swap in order to use these cards. The art styles can seem repetitive in the same years, which makes sense, but there isn't much variety for sending out as random swaps. There are lots of cards of great quality, though, if you can find a use for them all.

Great set of postcards for the price
When I bought these, the price worked out to less than 15 cents per postcard, which seems very reasonable. The box contains an excellent assortment of covers, arranged chronologically. This is helpful when sending a postcard to someone, because you can select on from the year they were born, married, graduated, had a kid, etc. Great for any fan of The New Yorker. Based on this collection, I'd not hesitate to buy other sets of postcards in this line.

Not a "dud" card in the box. Beautiful illustrations....every one....across a huge range of subjects and many different eras of the magazine.Printed on good, strong card and the box itself is very attractive. Bought these to use for short notes to family and friends, but now I don't know how I can part with any of them ! A framed group of your favourite cards would look great, and I shall use some as bookmarks. There are lots of uses for these lovely cards. Very glad that I bought them and, for the right person, would make a really nice present.

Amazing collection; perfect for writing short notes and poems on, and gifting to dear ones. :) The quality and thickness of the paper is great. And if you flip through the cards through the years, very interesting trends are revealed!
