This works much better than other bottles of turmeric liquid, better than most capsules, and as good as the best non-liposomal formulas. Does not require much of this extract to equal a big pill, and unlike most formulas, have not had any digestive issues. I have Lyme complex disease, which includes symptoms similar to extreme burning and sharp pains around or near joints, like fibromyalgia. So far, only the best Turmeric formulas have helped with the pain-no pain reliever nor any medication helps. I also have very severe diabetes, and although I cannot credit the turmeric, while taking it my blood sugar has improved. My PSA score has improved, but I cannot say whether or to what extent the turmeric is responsible. It could be that some of he other things I do also play a part in that. Don't bother with dropper bottles non-liposomic extracts of turmeric-- they cause digestive upsets and are not well absorbed. Cost seems high at first, but the bottle lasts a long time and it does work.

I have been an advocate of using Turmeric in my daily cooking as well as using it in my dog's food since she's had a knee surgery a while back and the use of turmeric has been helping her with reducing inflammation in helping her joints. We use turmeric for the same reason in our daily meals as well as some other health reasons such as boosting metabolism, anti-viral and bacteria, antioxidant, promotes skin healing and so many other healing benefits that are associated with curcumin, which is one of the primary compounds found in turmeric. This concentrated liquid extract makes it easier to mix in my german shepherd's daily meals and I can really tell a difference by the way she gets up and walks around when her food has had turmeric or not. She's about 80 lbs and she eats twice a day with each including three drops of this liquid. The liquid does not have any odor, her nose doesn't seem to detect it either or maybe it doesn't bother her. So far it has been a great replacement for the powder version of turmeric since the liquid gets absorbed much better and requires less quantity than the powder.

I have back issues and have most my life. I was having issues again and went to my chiropractor and he said everything looked good. I then realized that I had not been eating real good lately. More sugar and wheat than usual in my diet so I immediately realized the pain was inflammation. I have been putting honey and turmeric powder and cinnamon on my chia waffles every morning for over a year or more. Can't say it has done any good but I new it had to help some. I ordered the pura thrive and it said take 2 dropper full. I now know that was not correctly stated as to what they meant. There were no lines on my dropper so I assumed it meant what it said. 2 full dropper. This was a good mistake and a bad mistake. Good because I noticed a amazing difference in my lower back issues right away and other parts of my body as well. What wasn't good about the mistake is that I went through it really fast. I did not even get a months worth out of it and it is expensive. BUT I am glad I made the error on the amount because I think I needed to attack my inflammation aggressively to start with. So if you have issues you may want to take more to start with then do the correct amount as maintenance.

I've almost finished the entire bottle, not sure what I was expecting but haven't noticed a lot of difference. It has a pleasant taste and is easy to take but the price is too high for me to buy more.

I am a 45 year old female with an 80 year old cervical spine & shoulders (at least that's how my X-rays look). After two cervical fusions, I had a shoulder surgery 2 months ago to address an arthritic AC joint. Every morning when I wake up, I feel like I've been hit by a truck from the waist up. The stiffness lasts well until about noon each day. I heard about this Tumeric extract & was desperate enough to try it. After 5 weeks of Celebrex, and no change in pain, I wanted to try something different. I doubled up the dose by taking 2 dropperfuls in the morning & again at bedtime & the next morning was the first morning in several weeks that I woke up without the stiffness. My pain is still present, but it is less intense. I still think 800 mg of Motrin would give me better results but I needed to give my body a break from the medication. I'm not sure any natural remedy out there can really make a major difference in my neuropathy pain or joint pain, but at least the Purathrive puts a noticeable dent in the pain and makes it more bearable. If this product wasn't so expensive, I would have given it 5 stars. It costs about 3x more than other tumeric extracts I have seen, but the reviews on those say they taste really bad. Purathrive is easy for me to take; I mix it with a shot glass of orange juice and all I taste is the orange juice. I hate pills, so this is a great alternative for me...it's just really expensive.
