Best nib ever!
I recently went back to dip pens after many years of just using markers. I'm so glad I did--the dip pens/nibs really do make prettier calligraphy. I ordered a set of Speedball nibs, and read a review which said that the larger Speedball nibs were okay, but the smaller ones were terrible compared to Brause nibs. I do like the large Speedball nibs, and hate the small ones, so I ordered small Brause nibs. I absolutely LOVE THEM!!!!! Writing with them is a whole different experience. In writing two full pages, I didn't have to use a blotter even once. Each dip into the ink lasted for several lines. And the writing was much more beautiful. I had hesitated buying them because I had to get a package of 50, but I'm so glad I bought them. I'm going to order Brause calligraphy nibs in the larger sizes now.

Wrong quantity!
This is not a 50 pack. It is a single nib. False advertising!!!

Expected better
Been wanting to try these. Only tried one from the 3 pack I bought (2mm) and it seems like an ultrasonic cleaner will take the coating right off these things. With the reservoir I like to use my mini ultrasonic that I keep on my desk to clean the ink between uses but the nice bronze coating came right off which is a shame. Also, not sure why these broad nibs are slightly cut on an angle. You have to hold you hand in an awkward position to ensure the entire extent of the tines make contact with the paper. Also, the nib seems a bit rough.

I don't know if it was a defective piece, but the flow of ink was really bad. It did not come to the tip.

These nibs did the job ie Japanese style script. They were good and strong and easy to use. I would have preferred the pack to include different sized nibs so that I could have changed the size of my writing.
