Perfect replacement for my Aeron C
I purchased a used Herman Miller Aeron C. It was in excellent shape for being 15 years old. If you have one, you know they are build to last. The only issue was the seat foam pad was missing. This replacement piece fit perfectly. I followed replacement instructions on other reviews and YouTube. Installation was a breeze. The double sided tape presented no issues. the protective strip peeled off easily. Just make sure you follow previous reveiws or YouTube advice and peel it back from one end while laying it down at the same time. I can see how peeling it all off and then trying to lay the pad down could be difficult as once the adhesive make contact with the seat, it's not coming off if you didn't get it straight. The pad fit as it should, is firm and restored the seat to like new condition. I would not hesitate to buy one again, but considering how it is made, I believe it will last for a very long time.

Perfect fit for Aeron C chair
Bought this for my 20+ year old Aeron chair. It fits perfectly. I recommend loosening the front Torx screws that hold the mesh seat bottom insert to its frame. That makes removing the old foam cushion much easier than trying to pull it out with the mesh attached to the frame. It also allows for better vacuuming of the dust that collects there (you will be shocked at how much dust can collect there). It also allows you to scrape off the old adhesive that holds the original cushion to the plastic frame. At that point, installing the new foam cushion (it has double-sided tape to stay in place) to the chair and re-installing the seat mesh over it is a snap. Works great. I definitely feel more thigh support when sitting now.

Great replacement on my Herman Miller Aeron size C
My Herman Miller Aeron size C was bought used a couple weeks ago. It has a manufacture date of 04/26/2000. The leading edge seat pan cushion was the original so I figured I would change it out and get some padding restored. You will need a T15 torx bit or screwdriver to remove 12 screws holding the mesh to the seat pan. Once the 12 screws are out it simply pops out. My chair wasn't as gross as I thought it would be but it was still full of debris. I used a soft brush, shop vac with crevice tool, goo gone for old doube sided tape under original cushion and clorox wipes to wipe everything down. Many people complain about the included tape. I put on my reader glasses and picked a corner of the backing up with a razor blade no issues. If you go at it without paying attention to detail you will most likely pull it off like others have mentioned. I really don't see it doing a whole lot if you accidentally remove it, the mesh should more than adequately hold it in place once screwed back down. Once everything is cleaned up, new pad in place go ahead and start screwing the mesh back to the pan. I am old and half blind so this took me a little while. Best solution for me was to start at front corner. Squeeze the plastic pan into the groover and hold it while with my other hand, hand start the screw to ensure I got it back in the hole before screwing it in with tool. Just take it easy and do them one at a time in sequence around the seat pan. They just need to be tightened don't go crazy with torque as it is a steel screw into a plastic ring. Turned out great and the new cushion was well worth the effort as I am sitting here typing it feels great.

Was not of value to me
Having short legs and being overweight It has always been difficult to find a comfortable work chair. The Herman Miller Aeron Chair,C is well constructed and is adjustable enough that I can put my feet flat on the floor and have a seat large enough for my derriere. However because of the hard edge at the front of the seat I was experiencing pressure on my legs, enough pressure to become uncomfortable with in an hour. This is one of the newer Aeron models not the original; therefore the cushion was not included with the chair. Thinking that this cushion would help a purchased this cushion. The cushion installed easily, and it performed as described in the advertising. The result was that it moved the pressure point an inch or so up the back of my leg and made the edge a bit broader; but did not solve my issue. I removed this cushion, and I purchase some DIY (do it yourself) chair cushion foam, Two inches of HD50 foam and two inches of HD36 foam. Cut the foam myself to fit the chair. with 4 inches of foam I was still able to put my feet flat on the floor. This has helped, but my feet and legs still start to feel uncomfortable after an hour and a half or so. $70 for the DYI foam, cheaper than a new chair.

Size C can fit into B. Money well spent.
Excellent replacement. I own a size B chair, but the size C pad fit. It took some effort to jam it deep into the corners, but it was worth the effort. I tore the original pad when I tried removing it to clean my chair thoroughly. I was surprised that a new one would improve comfort, but it did. Money well spent if you are restoring your chair.

Pad for Size ‘C’ chair.
Good replacement for the original pad, fits well. Makes a difference in chair comfort. The chair itself has guides for placing the pad. 1 star off for near-impossibility of removing the adhesive tape cover.

Worked out fine. Size C.
Worked out fine. Like others say, unscrew seat, note positioning of old foam pad from edge, remove, clean off old double stick tape with goof off or other, clean with alcohol & dry, affix new foam, **register replacing seat by looking for a tiny triangular notch inside of chair seat groove and the corresponding triangle in seat edge you removed. Align and start by replacing seat screws at the front first. *To determine what size your chair is - A / B / C look under (or feel under) the top of the backrest. You will see, or find with fingers, 1, 2, or 3 small raised braille dots. 3 dots mean size 'C'.

Excellent replacement for Aeron C
Perfect replacement for foam pad on Aeron size C. Exact right size and thickness. Also, the adhesive tape backing was easy enough to remove, unlike some other reports here. I highly recommend removing the mesh seat before attempting to replace the foam pad. Just turn the chair over (on carpet preferably), and remove the ring of screws around the perimeter of the seat. Turn the chair back upright, and pull the mesh panel out, using your fingers to pry out the plastic ring holding it to the chair. This gives easy access to the pad, and enables a perfect fit. Repeat the steps in reverse to reassemble the chair. Good as new!

Please read
Brought a second hand Herman Miller Mirra 1 on Facebook Marketplace. The seat foam underneath had disintegrated pretty badly and I could feel the bar when I sat on it. Without dismantling the chair I ripped out the disintegrated foam and took the 3M adhesive protection off and wiggled it in their and around until I sat it on the beam. It’s really comfy, I can’t feel the bar and I don’t sciatica.

It just works as designed
Works like original version that came with chair bought 10 years ago. Stays in place snuggly.

HORRRIBLE!
Pésimo producto, sí, el color y el tamaño son los indicados. Pero es muchísimo más alto que el original, y queda abultado y corta la circulación en las piernas. En pocas palabras, es inservible, a menos que lo corte por la mitad o algo.

restores the comfort of the Aeron chair
This replacement seat cushion is excellent! The fit is perfect, and it restores the comfort of the Aeron chair like it’s brand new. The foam feels supportive without being too stiff, and the black/gray color blends in nicely. Definitely worth it if your original cushion is worn out.
