Edited for my initial mistake.
An absolute fan of peak refuel for camping, backpacking, hiking, or just to have in an emergency.Filling, delicious, requires little preparation.Initially I was commenting to say that this is not a vegan option, however it was a mistake on my part, partially because "chicken boullion" is separated by a line break on the ingredients list from the word "vegan".

Good but not traditional
This meal tasted good but not in the sense of a traditional tomato based chili, I still enjoyed the meal and texture and the extra fiber in the meal is a bonus.

Not flavorful by itself
This meal is not as flavorful as other Peak Refuel meals. It tastes much better with salsa added. So, I'd say it doesn't stand on it's own.

3 bean chili mac
Like all the Peak Refuel meals I've had this is a very delicious meal. It's quick and easy to prepare. The only thing I would suggest is to let it set a little longer than the 10 minutes required and use a little bit more water to give the beans plenty of time to rehydrate and cook. Otherwise it's great.
