It's a 4.5 for me, dawg.
I got this and a G1s to compare the two. Granted this is almost twice as expensive but I was looking for performance vs. size and this thing wins in that department. Couple it with the 2 filters and it's very versatile. Build quality is really solid and the dials to change the settings are better as you can hold them down to increase/decrease as opposed to having to manually turn the dial on the G1s many times to get what you want and over time, it feels like those dials on the G1s might not hold up. I know this is being nitpicky but I deduct half a star for the case. Yes, it does protect the light very well, nice and snug but I wish it had another pocket to fit the accessories with it. You'll be using this as a kit and as such, it would be awesome to have the whole kit in one case. Essentially I'm going to have to use the box it came in as the "kit case" which takes up more space in my bag. Offering an additional case, or a custom case would be worth the investment IMO. 4.5/5

Great light with decent battery life for the size
It has a lot of options when it comes to RGB color mixing, it has effects so you can get easy flashing/strobe effects, and for just plain light (bi-color/white) it can get very bright. The only downside I've run into is that the USB-C charging port is VERY picky about what it will accept for power. For example, it won't charge off a 20W Anker USB-C charger. So while it has a USB-C port, it clearly doesn't support USB PD to negotiate a charging rate, which makes getting these charged complicated real fast if you don't have a compatible charger with you.

Overall opinion
The light is really nice the build quality feels sturdy it takes not to long to figure out how to use it it's a little bit heavier than expected the brightness levels are amazing only thing i do say is it runs out battery rather quickly other than that it's amazing easy to use small and easy to take it with you.

Watch out with the 4-20 thread
I will start out by saying this light is absolutely amazing! the colour representation and the effects are topnotch. However, there might be a small flaw in the 4-20 build quality. I was somehow able to push a 4-20 thread deep into the housing of the light. Causing the lithium battery to rupture and almost setting fire to the light. Now I will say again it's a great light but you guys at Falcon Eyes really should try and fix this problem it is very dangerous.

FANTASTIC!
The Falcon Eyes F7 is an amazing tool! I received this light panel as a gift for Christmas (2020), and was INSTANTLY excited and couldn't wait to use it. Basically everything about this light is top-notch. The build quality is excellent, light output is excellent, the magnet built in to the back panel (for easy mounting on metal surfaces) is excellent and makes on incredibly versatile, battery life is excellent, and it comes loaded with 'scenes' which are just plain fun to use. I used it to provide light for the photo attached to this review -I was stuck in quarantine and just couldn't wait to shoot something, so I shot my cleanest pair of shoes- and was completely satisfied while using it attached to a secondary tripod using the standard threaded mount of the bottom. Grab one! You won't be disappointed!

Portable LED light. Well built, with great color control
Just started using this light. And I like it. Well built. The fact that you have a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 97 in a light at this price is amazing. A high CRI means you won't have strange color issues such as magenta or green cast in color critical work as you do with lessor quality lights. I took the Falcon Eyes Pocket Light out on a photo walk with a group of professional photographers in Sacramento, CA and several asked to know where to get the light after seeing it in action. It's a relatively small light with a lot of possibilities. It's a little bigger than a large cell phone and does fit in a pocket but I like to carry it in a small Think Tank photo pouch with my spare lenses. It comes with a zipper pouch you can attach to your belt. Here's a shooting tip. You can make this light appear larger by having your camera stationary on a tripod. Use a slightly longer exposure time and move the light while making the photo. That's how the model was lit in the accompanying photo.

This Changed the game for me!
I use this weekly as my main camera light. I use it when recording videos. I love all the features and the dimmers it come with! The battery is good so far though it seems that one bar always go away when 1st turned on to use. It charges quickly. I keep it in the bag within the box. I love it!

Nice light but has definite green color spike. Doubt the claims of CRI97
versatile, some good features. solid build quality. probably overpriced now considering other cheaper lights have better color rendering and wifi functionality.

This has to be one of the best portable RGB LED lights for content creators. After playing around with it for a bit and using it in some of my YouTube videos, it's the perfect light for many different scenarios. PROS: -very portable -lightweight but durable -brighter than the competition -20 different effect/scene modes -great light/colour quality -wider range of colour temperatures than the competition (2500K to 9000K) -great battery life (1.5 hours at full intensity in CCT mode, 2 hours at full intensity in RGB mode) -can be used while charging -built in magnets so you can stick it to any metallic surface -great price considering it's size, light output and the included accessories CONS: -can't change the intensity of the light when in effects/scene mode -no bluetooth or mobile app to control the settings from your phone -flimsy silicone straps at the back of the diffuser and honeycomb grid -when charging, light can only be set to 70% intensity All in all, this is a MUST buy for anyone looking to get an affordable portable LED RGB light. I will definitely be grabbing another one.

Wow! I am just an amateur photographer and this unit has made my pics look so much better when I’m taking pics or vids indoors. I’m actually getting a second one to expand my creativity because not only does this give you a large range of warm or cold shadows, it also offers true colours to play with and it’s compact.

Great flexibility with white balance and colour scenes, great range from dim to very bright, and good battery life. Have only used with mobile photos, and looking forward to shooting creatives with DSLR. The diffuser and grid are must haves.

Super well-built. Great brightness and adjustability with some cool modes as well. Recommended.
