A solid speaker for the price
This speaker has a lot to offer. It produces a warm, solid sound. It is powerful enough to fill a large space. Aesthetically it is beautiful. The switch in the back is easy to control. It looks and feels well-built. Two major cons: First, the bass is too strong to my taste. Like many other budget speakers, while powerful indeed, the bass from this speaker sounds dumb, eventually interferes with other mid-rage and high-range sound. I wish I could turn the bass function off, but the speaker doe not give me that option. Second, the plastic caps in the legs look cheap and flimsy. A few other reviewers pointed out that this speaker does not have a mode switch function. It does have. The TWS switch also functions as a mode switch. I don't understand why the manual did not specify it. Overall, this is a powerful and solid speaker for the price. It definitely sounds much better in a large space than other small portable speakers from JBL, Sony, Bose, etc. I paid about $55 after discount, and I don't regret.

You need two of these....
I just thought they looked good and would suffice for my needs and did not expect a lot....but oh my, was I blown away. We have other Bluetooth speakers including some big name brands but I am in love with these. We put two of them outside while we were enjoying our outdoor space and with the stereo effect of two of them it felt like we were at an outdoor concert. Absolutely amazing. I am not an audiophile but these are some of the best speakers I have listened to as a pair. The clarity and depth were fantastic. I am not sure what they sound like as singles because I will never use anything but two of them. Pairing one to your phone and the other to the main is so easy, it took about 5 seconds. Normal phone pairing but the stereo pairing was automatic and instant with the other speaker. I could not be happier. If they last as good as they sound the are worth three times the price at least.

GREAT SPEAKER!! GREAT SOUND!! BUT LACKS NEEDED ABILITIES.
GREAT SOUND from a relatively small speaker. The best there is at this price point. While the speaker itself sounds great the lack of functionality really makes it difficult to use in some situations.. I have used two of these for two years. There is no way to turn these on remotely. There is no remote, nor any app nor any way to use your phone to turn these on or off or control them in any way other than changing the volume. You have to use the buttons on the speaker itself to turn it on. Ok, so that isn't so bad, but what is really annoying is if you pause playback for more than a few seconds the speakers turn themselves off. If you are busy doing something or wanting to rest and enjoy music or videos and you pause playback for several minutes you will have to go to the speaker and turn it back on. Not all bluetooth enabled source devices allow you to change the volume. If you have these paired to a bluetooth source that does not have an option to change volume you will have to go to the speaker to change the volume. I wanted to use these with a TV but it was impossible. I connected them by bluetooth to the TV but could not change the volume and every time I paused a TV show the speakers would turn off. IF DOSS ASIMOM simply made an app or included a remote these would be really great speakers. I have contacted Asimom to get a firmware update that will keep the speakers on even if playback is paused. I'll update with the results.

Freaking Awesome!
Purchase one to give it a try, figured it would be like most other Bluetooth speakers... NOT. this was one of the best Bluetooth speakers i have ever heard or used. the sound quality and bass response is outstanding for a speaker this size. add to it, the ability to pair two of them together and work in stereo and WOW, why hasn't anyone else come up with this yet. i will be buying another one soon. i take this one with me everywhere, pair it to my phone to listen to music anywhere i am. granted you have to plug it in, there are no batteries for it, but i am OK with that. i don't want another rechargeable speaker. with this, i can work on the deck or in the garage and the sound is great. i would recommend to anyone.

You can get way more value at a small increase in price.
Twelve years ago I bought a BOSE Portable Speaker. It has a battery and will play for a few hours without the need for a power supply. The sound quality is absolutely excellent. At a volume way higher than I would ordinarily listen to the sound is flawless, undistorted and crystal clear. It has a remote and includes a bluetooth adapter, Now twelve years later, for about 80% of the price Asimom have released this, a speaker which distorts at high volume, muffles the bass throught the volume range, doesn't include a remote or a battery and for which an additional bluetooth adapter is needed for use with a PC (Either built into the PC or bought separately). After the market has continued to develop tech for a further twelve years, for very nearly as much as the Bose equivalent you can have very nearly half the value. Do yourself a favour, this thing + a bluetooth adapter comes in just less than $100, buy the bose for the extre five bucks, or better yet, spring for the extra thirty and get the better bose.

Well aside from taking 20 days to get to me when it was supposed to take 1 day (thanks COVID), I'm glad I chose this product. Sound quality is everything to me (I am a musician). I had a Fugoo XL which served me well for about 3 years but finally kicked the bucket. I wanted something that sounds big, to replace a home stereo but with bluetooth convenience. Generally bluetooth speakers are small in order to be portable, but this approach sacrifices sound quality. Tiny speakers do not project much (ie. move air). For solid bass, you need a sub or radiator with good excursion because lows have longer waves due to their low frequencies. The Jewel Pro has one of each on top of its dual 2" (full range?) drivers. Having said all this, the Jewel Pro is fairly unidirectional (compared to the Fugoo). Its sound suffers if you are off-axis in spite of being angled for dispersion, but the sound really is good through a variety of genres. The Jewel Pro is louder than my Fugoo which was already acceptable. Can't wait to hear it with movies and I'm already considering another for stereo pairing. To boot, it was half the price of my Fugoo XL. It apparently has no battery so that makes it less flexible but the manual says to charge it?? Confusing. It also looks cool which is a bonus. So far so good, hope it lasts!

I initially got this speaker so I could connect it to my phone and play music through it. It took about 30 seconds to set up from unboxing, connecting my phone and start playing music - really simple process. The volume can be controlled via your phone, or there is a "D-pad" on the back with volume controls, left to right. I like the shape and the fact it doesn't look out of place in the rest of the room. I might buy another and use it in place of a sound bar for the tv.

This is a good looking device. I placed mine in the gap between my kitchen cabinets and the ceiling and it looks like it was made to sit there. It connects without issue and the pairing sound isn't so loud that it wakes the neighbours (some bluetooth speakers chime so loudly they'll wake your children from across the house). The good: The looks. The designers put time into making this something other than "just another black box". It stands about a foot tall, has a black cloth grill across the face of the device and chromed steel legs holding it up from behind. Why haven't I mentioned the sound? - Because while the sound is perfectly acceptable when played at lower volumes, this speaker suffers from a case of 'form over function'. I'm not saying the sound is lousy (it isn't), but you might be a bit disappointed. In my case, the sound wasn't disappointing enough to return the speaker, just not quite what I was hoping for The cons: That unique design limits this device in terms of outright sound quality. In profile (as seen from the side), this speaker is very narrow and despite having a dedicated bass driver, that narrow enclosure greatly limits the bass output. Instead of the confident, deep frequency bass that you're used to hearing in your favorite song, the bass is much more subdued. The sound of the bass is more like clapping your hand against an empty shampoo bottle than that emanating from a subwoofer. What bugs me, is that had the designers doubled the interior air volume of the enclosure itself, bass reproduction wouldn't be an issue at all; but then the design would have suffered. I'm also not entirely crazy about the blue 'device connected' light on the front. It's quite bright, and flashes when disconnected - not great if you turn off your laptop between uses. I covered mine with a piece of black electrical tape. In conclusion, while I'm critical of the sound, I'm being picky. I'm used to the sound of bigger speakers and might be a touch harsh in my appraisal of this device. If played at low/moderate volume levels, you'll be quite happy with this. If you need that bass, or play LOUD; consider one of the many look-a-like black box speakers on the market instead.

I bought this because it looks cool but that's pretty much all you can get out of this product. Disappointed with the sound but it is what it is.

If you’re a bass head like me...this will let you down. I was drawn in with the whole “subwoofer” but it’s not very impressive. I do love the fact that it plays TF cards/ micro sd cards very well! I saved tons of music to the card and it’s very easy to play mp3 on it. For non bass-heads it should be more than suitable.
