Perfect for 1 cup
I just started using this the other day, but I can day this really makes a great cup of coffee. I enjoy the fact that it really brings out the flavor more than any other brewing system I have used. I have the French press, aeropress, and a traditional drip coffee maker. I'm still adjusting to my taste on the amount of water and grounds, but I really love this. Buying a gooseneck kettle is a must for this for the pour. If you are looking for more than one cup, buy a bigger size, but this is perfect for just one and no more. Use some fresh whole bean ground local or craft coffee, and it opens up a whole new world of enjoyment. I bought the ceramic version, which holds the heat nicely.

Nice brewer, fits a surprising range of cups and mugs, easy to use, requires special filter papers
I bought this to go with a set of Kalita Wave 155 filters that I purchased by accident, and I've come to quite like it. It's slightly more difficult to use than a one-cup Hario V60, because it's so small. So you have to do like 5-6 small pours instead of three slightly longer pours. But I've been impressed with the range of cups that the brewer works with, as its base fits cups with a brim diameter running from 2.5 inches to 3.75 inches. It's porcelain, so make sure to pre-heat it with some boiling water before you add coffee. And because it's fragile and the filters don't lie flat, it's not one I would take on the road, the way you can with a plastic brewer like a V60.

Great little brewer
Very great brewer that doesn't take much effort to get a good cup of coffee. The 155 is best for single cups and I use it to brew 10-12 ounces per batch. You really can't go wrong with this if you don't mind buying the special filters. A great place to start for those new to pour over brewing.

Fine for 12 oz
I wish that it were a bit taller. Coffee is excellent.

My coffee tastes much better
I used to use a mental reusable filter and paper filter for my dripped coffee. The flow of water would stop for the last few oz of water. Once I switched to this dripper, not only did the water flow continues smoothly to the last drop, the flavor improved significantly. I use the number 2 Melitta filters with this dripper without any issue. This is a perfect size for one to two cups of coffee.

"1 - 2 People"? This thing is tiny.
This is very, very tiny. It is fine for making a serving of coffee in an espresso cup, but it is not an espresso maker, of course, and who makes such a tiny serving of coffee? If you want more than a few sips, definitely buy the larger size. Kalita drippers are very good, but this should not be labeled "1 - 2 People," unless they are very tiny, doll-house size people.

Not sure why this one’s ridges on inside is practically nonexistent
I ordered the 155 ceramic to go with the 185 I already own. My only concern is on the 155 the ridges on the inside are practically smooth not prominent like on my 185. Not sure if the ridges affect the pour over quality and taste of the coffee. I am disappointed because when you set the 2 next to each other it is really obvious that the 155 ridges are not the same as the 185. I don’t see any way to contact seller to see if this was a manufactured flaw on mine or if design has been changed. Trying to decide if I should ask for a replacement. Quite expensive to be disappointed.

Love the ceramic
Picked this one after reading a lot of reviews for best pour-over coffee-makers. I’m glad I went with ceramic instead of plastic or metal. It just has a nice weight to it which makes for a nicer coffee experience. The special filter papers do not touch the sides of the coffee maker much so the ceramic material doesn’t seem to affect temperature of the pour.

Consistently good coffee, though quite small
Works great, though this is quite small. If you’re after a more North American size coffee mug, you may want a size up. Coffee tastes great, though, and is pretty consistent.
