Lightweight, value, fit and protection

This is definitely one of the better hats out there. The finish is great, harness grips perfectly, fiberglass makes it lightweight. I think this hat is probably the lowest riding hat as well so there tends to be less head bumping on objects. Only downside about the hat would be the forehead material tends to be warmer than other and makes you sweat at higher temperatures.

This is probably hands down the worst hard hat i’ve ever purchased. For the price the helmet is very cheaply made. I purchased mine 6 months ago and a few the metal clips that hold the head gear broke because they are made of thin cheap metal. The fastener on the back to tighten it to your head also wore out and would loosen its self up when i moved my head around. Looks good just doesn’t work very good.

Lihgt weight. About as comfortable as a hardhat gets

Dislike because I haven't had it for maybe a month with no dings and then it ended up coming off my head and falling 20-30ft to the ground off a scaffold and put a crack in it with chippings all around the edges. For it being so light I thought it would survive with minor scratches but that didn't happen. In my opinion I think the old school hard hat hold up alot better than these.

Excellent price and extremely comfortable

Compared to the MSA Skullgard: The Lift hat looks awesome, is cheaper, seems more "premium", but I'm sticking with my Skullgard for a few reasons. The Skullgard feels more durable. I'm sure the difference in protection is negligible because they were manufactured to the same ANSI standard, but the Lift hat is much thinner while not being noticeably lighter. In fact, when i took it out the box i grabbed it by the brim and heard creaking as it flexed. There is no such flex on my Skullgard. When I tried it on, the suspension felt terrible. There were pressure points on the back of my head and no adjustment would make it completely disappear. In fact the only remedy that worked was to swap out the 6 point Dax suspension with the MSA Skullgard's 4 point suspension. The Lift hat is physically much sleeker than the Skullgard though, and will get comments, and you won't probably be confused for an ironworker as often. The overall impression I was left with was that while it may protect your head more than adequately, overall it just seems a bit... gimmicky. I hope the carbon fiber one is better because that will be what I'm looking at next.
