Takes me back to happy times so take a trip down memory lane
School really was the best years of my life and although my own school far removed from Grange hill. I was watching this while doing my own homework. Well written and in the main, well acted by the cast, pupils and teachers alike. I wasn't sure what series 7 and 8 storylines were and sadly Zammos decline, Imelda and Ziggy did not come until series 9 and 10. So roll on another release. Id be happy if we get it before this time next year but as long as we do get it, I can look forward. Im really enjoying series 7 now and vague memories of the stories and characters, fill me with warm memories sat doing my homework, hating school yet loving it at the same time. Very special years. Great to have two more series. Keep em coming!

Bought series 1-4 long while ago, waited for these. Its just like I remember from watching as a kid. My niece is now half way through them, she loves them. Only problem is one of disc's keeps jumping when being watched.

Funnier Than I remembered
I had forgotten how funny Grange Hill could be. The episode where Mr Baxter and Roooooooooolaaaaaaaand got lost on the sponsored walk was hilarious. The writing really was superb and series 7 was one of the best in my opinion. When series 8 was first broadcast I was an older teenager and just starting to lose interest in it but at age 104, my interest is now renewed and I am loving every second of it. One of the best shows of my childhood. Roll on the 9 & 10 boxset!
