The 8yr old boy I bought this for is very happy indeed. He assembled it right away with his dad. He was having pretty good fun just zooming the kit along the kitchen floor using the rubber band power - before he’d even put any boxes or bottles on it. It’s clever the way you move the toy back and it scoops up the rubber bands that make it go, it’s not perfect but it works surprisingly well most of the time. Now, he’s added a card box with big eyes and covered it and the surrounding table in purple paint… I like the eco creds and overall it's a good imaginative toy with lots of potential for making different things. The comic is a nice bonus too :)

I really like this product. I have kids that obsess over Lego and prefer going off script and making their own stuff. To begin with I have to spend time working with them but eventually I expect them to keep tinkering on their own. I'd like to see more examples on YouTube. I'm sure this will come with time.

Step daughter loves this! Purchased after seeing it on tv programme. Only problem is she’s managed to make a catapult with it too 🙈

I bought this kit for my nephew, and he has absolutely taken to it. So good to see him putting down the tablet and getting excited a curious about making something in the real world. He has been running around his parents house (and neighbours) trying it out on more and more objects. Such a great way to get kids into using their hands, minds and creativity and having fun. His parents say it has been a game changer for them. Give it a go!

Expensive for what it is

We brought this for my son as a present 2 years ago and it is still a solid favourite. We love that different designs can be created and the kit can be used over and over again. He learns so much through creating and playing with this kit. The staff at Junko are friendly and helpful when contacted. Couldn't ask for more!

My kids love building cars from it, using any kinds of boxes we've got going spare

Bought for my 5 year old. It's difficult to use for adults so not great for kids. The elastic bands come off the wheels without fail which means fiddly adjustments before every use. 5 yr old stood on it by accident. We now have 2 broken axles. Very expensive for something we now can't use. Nice idea in principle, in practice don't waste your money.
