Dr Oetker French Vanilla Mousse, 2.7-Ounce (Pack of 6)

This makes some realy good Popsicle, the down side is it takes 4 boxs to make 12 Popsicle, so I've ordered some more.

This is super easy to make and is a nice little dessert when I want a little dessert at the end of the day. I like it better than pudding.

I love these Dr. Oetker Mousse mixes. They aren't always easy to find. I can't think of any dessert that provides better results with as little effort as this one takes. The calorie counts for mousse are ridiculously low. I've made the chocolate version of Dr. Oetker's Mousse many times. I tried the French Vanilla version a few weeks ago. It is very difficult for vanilla mousse to compete with chocolate, however, it doesn't have to. The two versions are wonderful together and on their own. Here's what I love about the French Vanilla version: For people allergic to chocolate, or who aren't particularly fond of chocolate, or for people who love vanilla, this is a particularly nice dessert option. How often do you see vanilla mousse? All you need to add to the mix is a cup of milk. I've used the mix twice. I made a mistake the first time and added a little extra vanilla paste. It was too over-the-top. It tastes much better to me just as packaged with milk. It mixed up very fluffy and silky. I think the vanilla is especially nice to match with berries. My dream is to create a Mousse bar at a party with toppings and different prepared versions of Dr. Oetker's mousse mixes. The prepared version of mousse would also be great in little shooters or in little chocolate tarts shells. People in my household have consumed the prepared mousse at least 3 days after it was prepared. It was starting to look a little deflated by that point, so I wouldn't plan on preparing this mix days in advance of serving it.

This makes a decent mousse, nothing mind blowing. It's very easy to make but not too flavorful. It's more like a thick pudding rather than a fluffy mousse.

This was smooth with a slight sponginess to it after it chilled in the refrigerator. Tasted great and was a quick, easy dessert to fix for dinner. The box says 4 servings per box, but to be honest I got two small bowls, maybe 1/2 - 3/4 cups each. Just follow the directions and it will turn out great. I'll try to add pics the next time I make it.

Tastes artificial and unpleasant . Can not recommend . The dark chocolate mouse is actually good.

This mix is so easy to put together that any child could do it. I just mix it with a spoon or whisk. Super tasty.
