Huge Gap Door Draft Stopper,3.4" W x 39" L Widened Rubber Door Sweep, Black

This product is stout, which is exactly what I needed. I had an outside door that led to my water heater closet. I found that mice were gaining entrance into the room by squeezing under the gap. It took a little bit of finagling to get it in the correct position, but once I did this has been a perfect answer to the problem. Not a mouse in almost a year and keeps all the rain and wind out of an almost one inch gap. I am not sure it would be the right answer for an interior door with a small gap, this is not like a normal sweep, but one made strong and sturdy and a perfect answer for the problem I was experiencing.

I bought this for an older door that had a larger than usual gap that a standard sweep from the home center just wouldn’t cover. The adhesive is super strong and it also comes with nails in case there is an issue sticking to the door. All in all it works great and the thickness of the sweep material seems like it will last for many many years. Be aware of the sizing as the one I needed was taller from too to bottom whereas this could look weird if you were looking for something a little more discreet.

Had a 2 inch gap under the door for my garage, finding something simple to fix that was kind of a pain. Ran into this and decided to give it a go. Definitely suitable for fixing the gap problem, but did run into some other problems along the way of installing. The adhesive wasn't sticking very well and the nail like pins it comes with breaks very easily. I opted just to use some staples on it as it's just a garage door.

This door sweep is substantial and made from very thick rubber. It almost feels excessive but it works well. Installed it on a basement door to keep out cold air and insects (and whatever else lurks down there) and so far it’s been effective. Installation is a quick peel and stick with the exception of cutting it to the width of the door which was easily done with a razor blade. The adhesive is very strong, so it’s much better if you can get it lined up correctly the first time to avoid having to peel it off. Saw some reviewers ask about an odor. There was a bit of a rubber smell when removing it from the bag it shipped it in, but that immediately dissipated after it was installed.

I've had cold air leaking under my mudroom door and have been looking for something to block it that would not get in the way. It's amazing how well this does the job. This adheres very well (if the door is cleaned properly with alcohol first). I'm considering purchasing more for the other outside doors.

My older home used to have carpet....when it was removed and hardwood floors exposed it left huge gaps under the doors. This was a simpler way to handle it than buying new doors, helps with sound and temperature.

I have 3 of these installed on each of my 3 exam rooms at my animal hospital. Client confidentiality was a priority and with the gaps under the doors, you could often hear more from others from the outside. We open and close these many times every hour and they have been holding up great with no signs of separation, splitting, etc. Very easy to install and we were able to cut the material with regular scissors to make the ideal fit for each door. I would buy these again.

They said in description it is 3" unlike others, but they have the same height of 2". Wasted my time. Placed a return now. Don't buy from them if you are looking for a 3", and if you are looking for a 2", there are cheaper alternatives.
