very very handy to have in the kitchen

I bought the cute little measuring cup for myself a few years ago and liked it so much that I bought one for my daughters and granddaughter. I used it only for dry foods such as chopped nuts, raisins, coconut. I hope my girls enjoy theirs as much as I do mine.

I bought this for my mom to replace the one she had from Europe. Hers was a heavier item, but this one comes close, and she is happy with it. The true test will be whether or not the numbers wear off too quickly. Her old one lasted decades, so the standard is pretty high!

The sheer number of measurement options is really handy for those without a dual display scale for lbs and Kg. It has gram measures of various dry goods, English cups and US cups. It makes it a lot easier to make a recipe regardless of origin since the measures of most commonly used sizes of things are right in there. I should also add that it's really easy to use and since it's dry goods only, it wipes clean very easily.

I have been using one of these measure gizmos for years and years but it finally gave out and some of the lines/numbers were wearing out. I was so happy to find a new one to purchase on line and I can once again use my British and Australian recipes that are over fifty years old and are so delicious.

My husband is from France and often is frustrated by U.S. measuring cups, having to convert from the metric system, and the difference between dry/wet ingredient measurements. I bought him this and problem solved.

Best item for the kitchen

Shipping is terrible and the item will 100% get damaged because they ship it in an envelope. Even if they finally start putting dunnage it’s still not a high quality product. The marking is handy and useful, but that’s the only thing that is good. The cup is just a stamped tin sheet, quite thin. A base is loose so the cup can be rotated, but it’s hard to tell it was intentional. Perhaps it was like that originally, but then it’s way overpriced.

Sieht wirklich gut aus, war aber bei Lieferung verbogen und schien benutzt. Beim zweiten Benutzen benötigte ich Flüssigkeit und stellte fest, dass das Gefäß undicht ist. Schade und von daher überteuert. Ich werde den Messbecher nun nur noch für Trockenwaren nutzen.

This is probably a good product, but it didn't work out for me as I wished. Still, if you are a pro baker or are baking a lot and often - it might work. But it looks nice in the kitchen, I have to admit.

Super Optik auf dem Bild, wurde schnellstens geliefert, für mich ein schlechter Kauf, billige Verarbeitung, als ich den Messbecher in der Hand hatte dachte ich nur : selbst 20 Cent wären für diese Pappmache zu teuer.

I’ve started a collection of the various tala measure items. I love how easy and time saving these are, rather than transferring food from scales to mixing bowls etc. Tala products look great on display in the kitchen too.
