Tactical Cap (Coyote Brown)

SDF is switching from the OCP patrol cap to a coyote tactical cap. The new issue cap doesn’t have the mesh on the rear, so this cap is a cooler & lighter approved summer alternate. The hook and loop panels are easily removed to convert the cap to sew-on name & rank. The hook & loop panel on the front is embossed with the Condor name & is rectangular, so it would need to be replaced with a 2” x 2” hook & loop panel if a 2” x 2” rank is desired instead of sew-on.

This cap is great, very rarely do caps fit my head this well! the front logo is made of velcro, so you can add a patch if you want. theres also a thin long strip of velcro on the back, for a longer patch, such as a name tag or blood type patch. Color is accurate to coyote brown, even if the picture shows it a little off. It matches my plate carrier and gloves perfectly! pros: comfortable color accurate coyote tan patch area on front and back easily adjustable with velcro strap cons: a little expensive for a cap, but you get what you pay for! this is quality!

How do you let your friends and coworkers know that you, too, are a disgruntled veteran with a dark, twisted sense of humor while also sating your need for functional headgear? With this hat and some kickass patches, of course! These things are great. I typically get ~ 5 years out of each one and wear them on the daily. The first part that wears is the front of the bill from being handled the most, but then you can trim it up and sell it. I sold my last frayed one to some zoomer at the bar for $30. Paid for the new hat AND another patch! Winner winner chicken dinner! Be advised, they will shrink slightly in the wash(more if machine dried) and the brass strap adjustment holder thingy will corrode if it gets wet often/sweaty

A very well fitted and stitched operate cap from Condor! Color (in my case- coyote brown) is true to color. This Condor is outfitted with the new Velcro back strap vs the older buckle type. I’ve owned many Velcro backed straps and prefer that style better- perfect sizing and durability. PLEASE BE AWARE- front patch panel is for 2 by 3 patches and not standard 3 by 5. However, I found some very attractive IR panels that look better than some of the 3 by 5 flags I’ve found. I feel anyone wanting this cap will not be let down!

Nice hat. good quality

The that seems well made and fits nicely. It didn't come all crushed because it was delivered in a small box which I appreciated. I will say however that the velcro tape on the back of the hat is actually 5 in long and not 4 in. Even with that I am happy with the hat.

Ya he tenido y tengo gorras Condor y puedo decir que duran muchísimo tiempo, son muy resistentes a climas adversos y al uso rudo aparte de cómodas. Una excelente compra a un buen precio.

Have purchased this hat a few times. Apparently I’m rough on hats so they usually wear out in a year or so. The quality is good, but the Velcro patch on the front is not stitched straight. Since the patch I’m attaching is slightly larger, it still covers the crooked Velcro when the patch is straight.
