The pre-formed curve of the hose is not welcome, makes it more difficult to use...
Instructions were good, easy to use.. Accuracy seems right on...tester showed one cell to be weak on a battery I was suspect of. Sadly, with the popularity of sealed batteries....no access to the cells...this tester will likely become a museum piece, but for now it's just what I need for golf cart batteries

Simple to use, works great for the price
Just received it and put it to use and it was simple to use. Just stick the tube in the hole and draw some battery electrolyte and watch the needle float.

Badly made, but workable
The white area between the green and blue scales in the illustration is really white lettering on silver, and nearly unreadable even in good light. It is invisible in the product illustration, but you can guess at the reading. The fill line is impressed on the inside of the plastic reservoir. It is small and indistinct. I stuck a sliver of black tape on the outside of the reservoir to mark it. The scales are paper labels stuck to the outside of the reservoir, no idea how long they will last, or how accurately they are placed.

Nice long filler tube for batteries with a tall cap, but not sure how accurate the SG reading is. I can compare cells to each other easily now, but readings compared to what they should be are consistently low.

Depends on individuals. Its an item worth keeping at home if you know how to use it. handy and good.
