Another great book from Edward Hutchison. Gives lots of inspiration and information.

Gave to my arcketecture daughter who loved it. Was her first arcketecture book so made a very good impression on her.

Great book, lovely sketches and very inspirational

Considering the current shift back to hand drawing, this book is riding the wave. The author is a competent artist and his approach to landscape design from site analysis to detail specification is interesting and inspiring. As someone who has been from the drawing board to the screen and back again, it's refreshing to see that once again these techniques are being recognised as a human and direct way of communicating ideas rather than an out dated way of working. The application of hand drawn images with digital ones is potentially very exciting and it is this message which the book conveys most strongly to me.

A beautiful and inspirational book showing how drawing can be a source of creativity and a means of effective communication. This is a vital read for students of landscape architecture and a reminder to practitioners that landscape design can be more than Autocad drawings and Photoshop collage.

Knot quiet what I was looking for but good book

I bought this as a gift thinking it was a new copy. The item arrived bent, yellowed and had a hand written sticker stuck to the front cover.

Volume interessante per quanto concerne la grafica del paesaggio e l'architettura degli spazi aperti. Peccato che non esiste ancora una versione in Italiano

O livro é recheado de exemplos que contam a história do projeto de paisagem, desde a visita ao terreno e seu entendimento através de desenhos e anotações sobre vários partidos projetuais possíveis até os exemplos mais rebuscados e variados no decorrer do livro. Instigante e lindo!

Great for starting with Landscape drawing. Perfect edition and desing. Very usefull for architects, students and people who want to start.

Very good examples and illustrations of various styles of graphic representation. Great for the design studio and the computer lab.
