I'm very happy with the SkyFloat product for many reasons including the solid construction quality and unique & modern design. It's easy to use and never gets in the way as it doesn't clutter up my desk because it hangs from the ceiling. It's easily adjustable depending on my needs. Installation is very easy with only 2 small screws. The price point is excellent for the quality of the product. I'm placing it on my Christmas gift list for my friends and family!

Absolute gamechanger for anyone that watches TV in bed to fall asleep. My bed frame doesn't allow for virtually any of the other tools on the market, so when I came across this I was stoked. And, I remained stoked for a good 3 months as I used it. Unforunately, it does not appear this device is built to last. The screws on the tablet mount portion constantly come undone, which isn't a huge deal; I eventually just resorted to some loc-tite to fix that once-and-for-all. However, about 100 days in or so, the mechanism that locks the telescoping functionality has stopped functioning. So it's either use at full extension (which is far too long) or this thing has been rendered useless. There is no FAQ, no troubleshooting section anywhere, and the company must be aware as they have a strict measley 60 day warranty on the product. I sure hope someone sees how great of an idea this is and executes on it with a quality version of this.

I do yoga and i can Move it easilly up and down side to side. It was a pain moving my notepad everytime i had to stand or sit.

It absolutely does what it says it does, however, holding my phone, as it hangs from the ceiling plate, I wish there was a way to keep the pole from rotating. Getting the shot in frame, every time I pause the video (touch the phone), the phone rotates so I have to reset the shot.

My 13 year old has gotten into playing pool and doing trick shots. He wanted a way to have a camera record so he could see his good shots and potentially record them. We started with the app Video Delay Instant Replay. He can set the delay to any amount of time (15 seconds is usually good) and if he makes a really awesome shot, he can use the screen record feature on his iPhone to record it. He can also AirPlay the screen to our TV. We were putting his phone on a tripod but the tripod was in the way a lot. I found this and read all of the reviews and decided it was worth a try. We decided not to use the adhesive on the magnetic plates and just screwed them into the ceiling. That is easier to cover if/when we want to take them down or move them. We like that it came with two of the plates, we put one on the short side of the pool table and one on the long side. I can see how some people have said the Sky Mount is delicate but we don’t have to use the telescoping feature much. It fits my son’s iPhone 12 mini well and also our iPhone 12s (regular size). We haven’t tried an iPad but I’m sure it would fit. The magnet is strong. We have only had it about two weeks so I can’t speak to the longevity.

I ordered the product so I can watch videos while exercising and cooking. After using the product for a few days those are my conclusions: 1. Sturdiness : the product is built well , good materials were used , does not have a feeling of a cheap accessory which I had in similar products I used in the past. 2. Design : I loved the clean and sharp design , it looks very edgy. 3. Usability: the magnetic grip is great , it is very easy to install the product, it holds the phone well. I loved the fact it opens to a huge length so it is perfect for high ceilings. I definitely recommend this product

It took me a couple weeks to get around to unpacking this and the return window has passed. But when I extend the pole to stick it to the metal plate on my ceiling, the telescoping pole collapses into itself. There's a button that you're supposed to push to collapse it but it's stripped. The bottom piece that holds your device also doesn't actually stay put in place, it rotates and spins and tilts while in use. I was trying to use this for live streaming my fitness classes via a smart phone and it was a total waste of money. I'm so sad.
