Do NOT waste your money and time
I never, ever write bad reviews but after two month of a broken >$3000 printer, I have decided not to purchase HP products anymore. The printer only worked a couple months before it got black streaks and calibration problem. Support has been absolutely horrible. No communication. Three service calls. The tech says he can't fix it, after the third service call. I send emails; Support has gone silent. They don't answer emails and you can only talk to level 1 support, even though this case was put to level 2. I can't believe how bad HP support has become. For this kind of money, youd expect way better service. Horrible. Buy something else from a manufacturer who still supports what they sell.

long setup time due to flaky airprint
this is our fourth network printer (we also have a brother laser, xerox phaser, and epson inkjet on the network) and the only one that requires iOS devices to be rebooted occasionally before they can airprint to it; also does not work from Mac with airprint at all; works fine from Mac in one of the IP printing modes but took a lot of experimentation to discover that one (the more obvious configs either failed to print color or failed to do duplex, or something); but all this is worth it because the device itself is well made and robust and the only one at this weight (under 100lbs) that can print >11x17; and the color print quality is great

So far, so good
I’ve been using this printer for a week, and I’m extremely impressed. The print quality is flawless, handling hundreds of jobs with ease. I encountered only one minor issue, quickly resolved by restarting the printer—turns out it was a problem with the PDF file itself, not the machine. The print speed is excellent, and I specifically chose this model for its 12x18 capability. It holds about 100 sheets of 80lb 12x18 paper in the fold-out tray on the right, though, contrary to HP’s claims, the roll-out tray doesn’t fit 12x18 paper. Despite that, this machine has been a fantastic addition to my workspace. I previously used an Epson Workforce 7620, and though I considered upgrading to a newer Workforce model for added features and lower cost, this HP printer is in a completely different class. It prints a full 12x18 drawing set in just a few minutes, compared to the 5 to 8 minutes the Epson would need—and with far better quality. The HP produces lines that are dark and crisp, and full-color renderings are vibrant and striking, with colors so rich they resemble poster-quality prints. For anyone looking for a high-quality upgrade, this HP is an outstanding choice. I’ll revisit this 5-star review if I encounter any issues in the next year or two.

Not reliable for large format paper
Works great, when it works. Looks terrible on tabloid/11x17 paper. Tech support ranges from actively unhelpful to inept. Does not honor next day on site warranty.

Amazing Printer
I have been looking at Color printers for my company which can duplex print 11x17 pages for a few years. This Printer is Amazing, only had it a week, and printed out our 200 page Catalog and it was very fast. So Far so good, I am very impressed. The first page takes a few moments to cue to go from my computer to the printer, but once it gets going the machine quickly prints. Unfortunately the printer did not come with any instructions, it was in a new box, I am not sure if they were lost in shipping or not in the box at all.. I had to do some troubleshooting on the get-go as the colors were not lining up. There is an onboard selection to calibrate it, and it has been working perfectly since. I would buy again.

No wifi, must by an accessory to make it wireless
On a $1700 printer, it is unacceptable not to include wifi, which $100 printers have. Clearly a moneygrabbing move by HP to advertise it as "wifi-capable"
