We’ve had the Meaco dehumidifier for a week now, and it’s been absolutely excellent so far. We’ve had dehumidifiers for many years now, so are already fans of what they can do for drying laundry and generally keeping the house nice and fresh - however we’ve had a bad run of desiccant dehumidifiers failing after a couple of years, so wanted to try something different this time. The Meaco feels like a proper machine. Sturdy and powerful, this really works and extracts a lot of moisture. Quite large compared to the smaller desiccant options, but easy to move on its wheels and you soon get used to it. Noise levels are absolutely fine - laundry mode is very powerful (which is ideal), but much quieter as soon as you turn it down. Very easy to use and switch between modes with simple button presses. So far - really pleased.

I moved into a commercial unit within an aquatic centre and unfortunately originally the building was a large agricultural building and my unit suffers with terrible condensation. I would come in to puddles of moisture and drips running down the walls but after a couple of days running this unit humidity has reduced from 88% to 49% and there are no more puddles or damp smells. Not the cheapest on the market but well worth the money in my opinion.

Really pleased with my purchase. My 3 bed house suffers from condensation during the colder months, and this has made a massive difference, with the tank over half full per night collected. My windows now have almost no condensation on them in the morning, which is a great improvement. Before I had to use a karcher window vac each morning to clear the condensation. It is a good size and sits comfortably on my landing. It doesn’t seem to use much energy, looking a my smart meter usage there is very little difference in my electricity usage since I started using it. I like the fact I can set it to my desired humidity level, and it cuts out once reached. It’s not too noisy, I can keep it on fall fan over night with out disturbing anyone.

Bought to replace our ancient dehumidifier and what a difference! The Meaco is quiet, easy to operate and very efficient. Best of all, it is brilliant at getting washing dry. This is the first winter I can remember where we haven't had to put up with damp washing on radiators for days on end. This is one of the best appliances we've ever bought and we would recommend it without hesitation.

We’ve just bought this 25L dehumidifier for our city centre apartment. It’s quite a big apartment with 6 rooms and we thought we needed something heavy duty. This unit is massive and as it transpires is far too powerful for our flat, we use it mainly for Drying cloths which certainly helps however like I’ve mentioned we didn’t need anything this powerful and it’s giving us chapped lips and very dry skin. The build quality is really good, the water tray is a little flimsy but works perfect and easy to get in and pull out. The size of the unit is a lot bigger than we thought it would be, it’s the size of a international suitcase fully packed and is pretty heavy. It doesn’t come with a drainage hose which is pretty irritating trying tk find one that fits however on full power through the night or left through the day we’ve never seen the machine fill the whole tank yet so it’s not a worry emptying in between morning and night at it’s worse. But most of the time it collects a full tank over a few days. The fan noise is a lot louder than we thought it would be however when it’s not in the room you can’t hear anything through the night. If it is going in your bedroom even on quiet mode would be highly irritating so many bear that in mind.

Amazing, noticed the difference pretty much straight away. It’s a game changer and I wish I had brought it sooner! Not only has it helped with the mould and damp it has completely changed the temperature of my flat after reading reviews of how when it gets rid of any damp it helps with the temperature I couldn’t believe it I always wondered why my flat was always so cold now I know. Definitely worth every penny.

We needed to replace the old dehumidifier that stopped working after many years. Spent a couple of days researching the many, many reviews available. We settled on the Meaco 25l model as our cottage has five bedrooms that all suffer with condensation. Within 24 hours the moisture content in all of the walls had reduced from 17% to between 14% and 15%. After 36 hours, we have seen a further 1% drop. The unit is not loud enough to really notice whilst operating and so far we have not had to empty the large reservoir either. Overall, a very easy transaction with Amazon Prime

This was initially a good dehumidifier and when it worked it worked well. Unfortunately it only lasted just four years, with light to moderate usage. Operating settings are good. My main issue is that you can’t clean it out. You can hoover the removable dust filter, but you can’t get inside the machine to remove mould and the build up of dust that gets through the filter. Basically it becomes a potential health hazard due to the mould and eventually the dust inside gets the better of the machine and it is useless. Really unfortunate as I initially thought it was a great product. Very expensive for the amount of use it got.
