Exellent rug. Arrived as described. Looks great in our living room & seems very durable. There is a slight odor for the first few days, but it is not offensive & dissipates fast. Very nice quality & amazing price!

Had a natural fiber odor that was unpleasant, but it went away after a few days. Looks great in my place. It is not soft, but I wasn’t expecting it to be.

I received mine this morning. 8x10 Beige. It smells like honey mixed with grass or sweet grass. The smell is mild yet noticeable but other reviews said the smell will go away in a few weeks. It's not hard but not soft either. It almost feels therapeutic on my feet. It feels similar to straw but slight smoother. There are a few imperfections here and there as shown in video but nothing major. I probably should have bought used and might have received the same minor imperfections here and there for half the price. When I first unrolled the rug a few small fibers fell out in random places. Nothing major. I vacuumed it up the vacuumed the bottom and top of the rug. There are care instructions on one of the bottom corners. The gray bottom seems to be slip resistant. It's a cool rug. Haven't got much use out of it yet but we will see.

This rug far surpassed my expectations for the price. We have a rug which is nearly identical that we bought from another company, which is very expensive, and we paid triple the price for the same thing. I would highly recommend this if you know that you are in the market for a seagrass rug. If you buy this, you shouldn't expect that this is soft and cozy. This is a very durable, good-looking rug which would be a good fit indoors or in a covered outdoor area.

Like style, color. Ordered 12 others, all nice but 8 x 10 came tightly rolled and tried all and still can see all roll line. The 9 x 12 came folded which was great.. need to send large rugs folded. Disappointed in this one

I loved saving hundreds by purchasing this product. I layered a smaller rug over it, and it is just perfect. Quality is as good as the way more expensive Pottery Barn similar rug I bought a few years ago. The "grass" smell was extremely mild -- based on some of the reviews I thought I would have to air it out before laying it -- that was absolutely not the case. Love it.

I've had this rug for just a few days, but so far so good. For the price, it's great - it's sturdy and seems well-made, and has a non-slip backing which I love since I am using the rug in a high-traffic area. The rug (and border) is darker than how it looks in the picture, which is the only reason I didn't give it 4 stars, so just keep that in mind. Also, there is definitely a grassy odor when you first unroll it, but that's probably the norm with any seagrass rug. It's not unpleasant in my opinion, but it's noticeable, and almost gone after a few days of keeping the room's windows open.

we have now bought this rug at least 3 times. It is very sturdy & long lasting & wears well. we have in 2 bedrooms and another in high traffic library sitting area of our home. it is very natural, handsome anchor to the space. we have dark wood floors and these look great. faint sweet grass smell when you first open and it takes a couple of days for its corners to stop curling up. walk on the border [I think we got the natural color border which is lighter in color] 100s of time a day and it gets "dirty" but really still looks fine/clean, if that makes any sense. I think b/c the color is just dark enough and the border is tough so it really wears very very well. the last one we bought, it has some loose weave poking up but as I recall you can just trim. haven't done it yet, but remember this from other purchase of this rug. if you are cleaning spots, I rec this dry cleaning type powder that you rub in, let dry and vacuum later. seems to work very well.

We ordered 2 of these and they are not exactly the same, one is larger than the other (both 8 x 10) and the colour is slightly different, one was difficult to lay flat. That said, you get what you pay for and they solved a problem for us. So, overall, happy with the purchase and the look of them, they are rough on bare feet.

Beautiful. Lies flat. No curling at the ends. However, there are quite a lot of breaks (about 8) in the fibre, as pictured. My previous seagrass, an entire upper level of my house, had zero breaks.

El producto no me gustó porque tiene un olor muy particular y fuerte. Además, contrario a mis expectativas, no es un material suave ni acogedor. Lo estoy intentando devolver, pero el proveedor no quiso pagar la devolución (francamente en contravención de la Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor). Y le reclamé al Amazon directamente en cuanto a su garantía A a la Z, y quedé igual. Yo finalmente pagué la devolución, e igual me la están haciendo difícil para el retorno de mi dinero. NO quedé nada satisfecho.

Nice area rug....great price. Super fast delivery. Yes, as others mentioned, there is strong smell when it's unwrapped. Let it air out on an outside deck for a few hours before putting it on inside floor.

I love this rug! It looks beautiful and totally transforms the space.
