Good product
We gave up on the atomic version of this talking watch because it would not reset itself. Hubby has poor vision and this quartz version is wonderful. He can sort of see the dial and the voice backup allows him to have the info he needs. Do wish that the manufacturer would make a band that is replaceable. The watch goes on, the band not so much.

It has restored some independence
I purchased this for my father who is visually impaired. I had to read the instructions to understand how to set it. It is very easy to use. My Dad is hearing impaired as well, but he has gotten used to the robotic voice, and now he is able to learn what time it is without asking. It has restored some of his independence.

pretty good
Needed this for my mother in law who is blind. It's really big for a lady with very small wrists...had to punch holes in the band for her to wear, but she really likes being able to hear the time and the date. I just wish you made one with a smaller watch face and wrist band.

Voice sync has a glitch
I bought this item for my sister who is blind and hard of hearing. I liked that it only had one button for her to push and the voice was loud enough for her to hear. I was also happy that it had the correct time when it arrived, and I didn't need to spend a lot of time figuring out how to set it. I did change the band because it is difficult for her do the little watchband buckles and she has tiny wrists. After she was wearing it a bit, she checked the time, and it said "9:34"; it was actually 3:34. I took the watch and checked it a few times and it still was 6 hours off. I took it home to see if I could reset it. When I got home the time was correct and it was a correct every time after that when I checked it. I gave her the watch back stating that I don't know what happened. After a while, she checked the time and it said "9:28" and it was 3:28. It turned out that instead of the voice saying three, it says nine instead. During the 3 o'clock hour, the watch always says nine.

Stopped working
Stopped working. Did not even last a year. Was not dropped nor did it get wet. Back can’t be opened to replace battery.

Perfect watch for poor eyesight
I have macular degeneration and have been on a mission to purchase the most easily viewed watch. (Caution, if you have my sight problem, don't buy a black dial watch!) This talking watch is easy to read even in the dimmest light. In fact, I have only used the talking function three times. It was easy to set up and thank goodness it doesn't have a date feature. Remember, when you push the dimple with your toothpick, there won't be more instructions than "SET HOUR". Then go to your top button and push it repeatedly until the hour is set. I have used this watch for several weeks and would purchase it again.

Defective product
Upon fitting watch, the buckle fell off the strap as bar post pin holes were not sufficient to accept spring. I spent my time and $10 to have it replaced by a jeweler as they couldn't repair it. I went to jeweler rather than playing the return game as I am blind and a time piece is crucial to me.
