I’ve used this wire twice in two different homes. It really works great for running over flat hard floors under rugs instead of running standard speaker wire. The first time I used it I peeled the backing off to stick to the floor. Beware, it sticks very well, so make sure that’s where you want it to be! This time I left the backing on and taped it in place. I’ve never tried to incorporate it into a wall using joint compound. The sound quality is just as good as standard speaker wire. The terminal blocks quality is mostly ok. Check the screws to make sure they’ll hold the speaker wire you want to connect to. I’ve had issues with it popping loose with one of the blocks. Other than that, it’s a really good option for concealing wire and still having a great surround sound home theater system.

Love this product. It's seriously a game changer. I had to run some 12v rv wiring along my ceiling and didn't want to have to dig a channel into the foam insulation. This wire worked perfectly for my 12v lighting and is invisible, especially as it's now covered by wallpaper. 2 things: Use your own spray adhesive. It's easy and will eliminate the issue of it not sticking long term. Maybe skip the terminal boxes. They are bulky, which negates the purpose of getting this product. If you feel comfortable you can solder the wires, or just wrap the ghost wire around your other wire and wrap w electrical tape.
