Excellent but beware of the pipe threads.
Requires an adapter to fit NPT threads otherwise works as specified and i am satisfied.

Worked perfectly and as expected.... for 3 weeks.
I installed this to monitor water flow through our geothermal heat pump. This is simply well water flowing between 3 and 6 GPM. The unit is connected to Arduino. Yes the fittings are G1 style but so are nearly every flow meter, so not at all surprised by that. The unit installed easily and worked straight out of the gate with nice steady readings and no noticeable flow restriction at my required flow rates. Even though the fittings are 1 inch, the internal passage is significantly smaller, so at high rates some restriction may be observed. Sadly, less than three weeks in the unit stopped sending. Returning for a replacement at this point.

UPDATE: It's DEAD after 6-weeks. (One good, one early failure and one erratic peformance)
UPDATE: April-11, 2025. Save your money, 6-weeks in and this is rubbish. It just quit operating. After an hour+ removing it and testing, not a single pulse. The impeller still spins but I suspect the magnet has been dislodged, so nothing to trigger the Hall-Effect sensor. Filtered Town water, so no excuses. This is the 3rd one of these I have purchased for our farm to monitor tank-water usage. The first one was and still is excellent and performs fine after around 2-years or so. Easy to program with Arduino and simple flow monitoring algorithm. The second one has been fine for a few months until a few weeks back so I ordered a replacement. This latest one is already (1-week) reporting wildly fluctuating Pulses Per Second (anywhere from 63-PPS to 109-PPS) and is totally useless. Unfortunately removing/replacing in the piping is about a 2-hour job so returning for another replacement is out of the question.

Works great, but installation was a bummer
If all your pipes are NPT, you'll have to buy some GB to NPT adapters. Oh, and use pipe dope, not teflon tape.
