I am very happy with this knife it is very balanced and the Damascus steel is beautiful it came very sharp and the leather sheath is top quality. I believe it is real Damascus make sure to keep oiled it isn’t stainless steel great knife

Great knife came sharp enough for me some want them razor sharp, I just get them to cut They make razors to shave with It want cut nails or cut trees down! It can be broke as any knife can be broke ! But for normal use in woods it’s great An you can sharpen it if you know how if not you need a professional to sharpen it then ! As with any tool it can be broken nothing is indestructible .

I'm the kind of guy knife people hate. I tend to abuse knifes, using them as screwdrivers, breaking off tips, cutting things where other tools should have been used in my jobs as firefighter/paramedic, mechanic, pool repair, pest control. Mostly now that I'm retired I use three knives that do everything I want. One is a S&W rescue knife, a Chinese blade that fits my hand, and a Bearcat knife. The bearcat does everything that needs doing and does it well. The bearcat goes with me on hikes in the Smokies. Aside from it's great looks and cool sheath, it does everything well that needs doing on a hike.

It looks great! I haven’t cut down a tree with it or anything, but it is sharp, looks great, and seems sturdy. At the very least it will look cool on the hip in the sheath. BTW, the sheath is nicer than I thought. I would buy it again.

Damascus steal stands out with the layers they incorporate into their knifes. The Leather sheath is made of high quality and has some craftsmanship added. The knife came with a decent edge and I manage hair cutting sharpness in less than 10 minutes with wet stone and leather. For the cost, I would highly recommend.

The quality of the blabe seems very good and the handle fits my hand perfectly and the mosaic pin in the handle adds a awsome touch the only reason im giving this 3 stars is because the blade as bad bend in it im not sure if its the blade itself or if it wasnt centered in the handle the pictures I post with this review will hopefully show what I mean other than that seems to be a good quality knife for the money

Ich habe schon einige BIGCAT ROAR Messer und hatte bisher noch keine Probleme damit, weder mit der mitgelieferten (Echt)Lederscheide noch mit den Messer an sich und so ist es bei diesen auch. Das Messer kam wie Stets solide verpackt und reichlich "transportgefettet" an und ist gut verarbeitet und macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand (ich habe Handschuhgröße 8,5), die Holzmaserung ist schön und mit persönlich gefällt zudem die Griffform besonders gut da BIGCAT ROAR seine Griffe nach Hinten raus eher klobig gestaltet was zwar grundsätzlich ein Abrutschen verhindert, mir persönlich aber vom rein ästhetischen Standpunkt her nicht besonders gefällt und das Damastmuster ist sowohl ansprechend als auch gut sichtbar, was ja leider nicht immer so ist. Insgesamt also ein gutes Messer zu einem fairen Preis allerdings ist die Klinge leider einen absoluten Hauch zu lang um das Messer (in Deutschland) legal führen zu dürfen.
