All 3 of the frames pictured used to be different! My youngest son (15 yrs) had friends over. They were throwing a ball in the house (omg why!) My 1 picture got hit (bottom of the 3 if you look at my image) frame was broken! Of course I want a new fame for my picture! Amazon to the rescue! I got this 8 pack of frames for 30$ Holy cow great price! They look great, very modern, & I got 8! So I not only replaced the broken one but also the other 2 on the same wall! So now it's uniform. Looking for a great looking affordable picture frrames?....look no further!

This item arrived within 24 hrs of my purchase. The package was perfect and all the items are in great shape. Packaged well individually and then again as a set. They smell like wood, which makes me happy. Last time my husband bought frames, they were plastic and they looked cheap. These don't. Now, I read some reviews and people don't seem to understand that if you want to show your whole 8 x10 using the mat, you need to buy a 11 x 14 frame then. The 8 x 10 frame will display a 5 x 7 with the mat or a 8 x 10 without the mat, like you see on my pic. Don't put the item down because you don't understand how a frame works, guys! I am very happy with the item and the price is a deal for 8 frames. I will buy more in the future.

I forgot I'd gotten these. I had broken one of my degree frames so got these to replace. I got a whole box for other things to be framed too but then forgot about the box in a cupboard for months. I finally got them out and found I had to shave my degrees to get them to fit. The frames are standard size but I'd had my papers in much larger frames with matting to make them look bigger, hah. Anyway when I was done with these; I'd framed my 2 Master's degrees, my Psi Chi membership, a butterfly picture I did, and had broken its frame (we moved!) and then used the not broken larger frame to put a faith print in. Along with a painting by a friend and a plaque sent as an anonymous gift from Amazon it makes a nice array behind my desk. I will post a pic when I get to it. I still have frames from this value-priced box of 10 frames for my college & h.s. diplomas, and our Pastor's degree and diplomas. I could frame our IRS 501 c 3 letters too and that would be great. The frames are not just plain black but have silver trim and nice white mats inside. They can be set to stand on the desk vertically or horizontally or hang either way on a wall too. They are sturdy, nice thickness, have clear acrylic "glass" and look like they will withstand many more years even if we do move again which we are praying not to have happen.

I purchased these frames because they are affordable. I did not expect perfection. For the price, they are fairly attractive. I want frames that are consistent for displaying school photos of my five children and now grandchildren. The pics I have shared hopefully display how small the imperfections are and give the buyer a clear idea of what you will get for your $money$ As one can imagine, the cost of framing all of my children's school photos and my growing number of grandchildren can be very expensive. What is important to me is consistency. I want authentic wood frames and consistency for what I believe will display my favorite photos in my gallery of beautiful children and the new gallery I am creating for displaying my growing number of grandchildren. This may not be important to others, however, for those who also like consistency, these photo frames offer this option at an affordable price. The small flaws are noticable to the discerning eye. The frames offer me the look I am trying to achieve without breaking the bank and and not flawless but they have the quality I expect and work for the look I'm attempting to achieve. I have include pic of the frames that show the small imperfections. The word small is the operative word. These frames are fine for the price and I definitely am able to achieve the look I'm attempting and I am pleased with my purchase. I am giving a four star bc these frames really are decent. I do not like how the mat included with this purchase is off centered but do not think it warrants lowering the rating. The mat quality effecting your decision is really up to each individual buyer. However, the quality of the mat really does not affect my decision as I made this purchase for the frames. They are wood and that is what was important to me.

I purchased two orders for a Stairway project I'm working on. They arrived well packaged but one frame had a broken glass. I reached out to the vendor and they quickly replied. They offered me a refund for the one frame. In the meantime, I had already placed a replacement order with Amazon. Since I accepted the refund the vendor asked that I cx my replacement order but it was too late. I received the replacement the very next day. Since the frames were beautiful and exactly what I expected I reached out asking how I could pay for the replacement. The vendor reached out and was so kind to let me keep them for my inconvenience at no charge! I will be purchasing more frames as they are gorgeous and exactly as promised. I highly recommend this item if there is any concerns they do everything on their part to satisfy the customer!

Quite affordable way to mat and frame pictures. I am a artist an use quantity and quality as a guide in framing work. Price is affordable for resale. Only caveat is if moved alot the hinges ans stands wear out and stretch. Price is fair for how I use them. They don't look cheap and are real wood ?

I wanted a set of affordable and basic black picture frames and was very impressed with how well these were made. They were very well-packaged and have a special clip that goes behind the frame and backing that will make it easy to decide just how I want it to hang. The easel tucks in completely flat on the back so the frame will lay flush against the wall, which is not the case for other frames that can be stood up or wall mounted. I will be buying more, both for pictures and also to make flat glass mosaic art!

As indicated in the headline, I have purchased 40 of these frames. I use them to frame old magazine ads and articles. They may or may not be true 8x10 as others have mentioned, so be aware of that. But if you're looking to trim something down to fit a roughly 8x10 frame, these have some benefits. First, they are wood. Yes, it's MDL wood, but it looks surprisingly good for what it is. Second, the glass in the front is REAL glass, not plexiglass; I prefer the look and feel of real glass, even though it's not as safe or study as plexi. Third, in five orders, I don't think I've had one frame that was actually damaged or had more than very minor scratches. That can be a BIG problem when ordering multiple frames online; with other brands I've found that sometimes as many as half of the frames are damaged to the point where I either have to try to make repairs or have to toss them/return them. These are not $50 frames...but then again, they don't cost $50. For what they cost, I believe that they are an excellent deal.
