Wonderful fragrant, but not overwhelming.
Beautiful covering to set out in the open. Also a good size to hid behind something. The scent is just right. Not overbearing. Great value for your money. I subscribe and save even more money. They last about 90 days in my room. Makes your rooms smell wonderful.

Works excellent in cat bathroom!
We have 3 cats with 4 litter boxes in one small bathroom in a 950 sq ft apartment. I came home one day and you could smell cat litter from the bedroom. It’s not a good look. Bought 2 of these, and put one on the counter in “The Cat Bathroom.” It’s been about 3 weeks now. The gel beads are halfway gone. When I walked into the bathroom today, there was no smell. It didn’t smell like anything (even though it advertises that it has a smell). It definitely didn’t smell like litter though. These little things work! I don’t know where the second one was put away, but this first one had a CHALLENGE and it worked. Big fan 👍

Overpowering stench
This is a product very similar to one that I found at Daiso, and I expected a similar experience - a subtle fragrance and effective deodorization. That's not the case with this product. The fragrance on this one is so overwhelming that I will have no choice but to dispose of it entirely. I don't understand why so many products on the American market have such an overpowering stench to them, and worse, why so many of them use allergens to produce the fragrance. If my allergic reaction were more severe, I might consider suing Punati to have the product recalled for endangering my life. I'm not exaggerating when I call it an overpowering stench. The "calming rain" version is supposed to smell like calming rain, not a broken canister of petroleum; and it's supposed to be subtle to gently cover over unpleasant odors, not cause me to bleed from my eyes. The cotton one has an acrid soapy smell. The "lavender and vanilla" version is suitable only in biological and chemical warfare. If you have any sensitivity to fragrances at all, avoid this product. Update 1/26/2016: Keeping the Calming Rain variety of this product in the bathroom with the vent fan frequently on has eased my reaction to it, but the Lavender Vanilla variety of the same product caused a persistent, dry cough within only a day of having the seal off. It's quite painful, and the odor is actually quite vile - nothing remotely like vanilla or lavender. I would amend my advice as follows: Avoid this product at all costs.

Named correctly---the smells are gone
I have used this product before and was very impressed. I use it in the bathroom where I have a litter box. I can no longer smell cat stuff.

Phew!
Lingering, yet hard-to-place, odors can be found in any home, but the kitchen, bathroom, and basement are the typical places that can need extra deodorizing. Sprays, wipes, candles, and incense offer temporary and intense relief when a more consistent and gentle solution is what’s needed. Smell BeGone offers a low-impact approach to neutralizing odors. We bought both this and the Fresh Cotton scents. We put this one, still in its original container, under the sink in the bathroom, while the other sits in a vase on a shelf in our mudroom/garbage-recycling space. The scent is mild; it barely registers to my perfume-sensitive nose. Yet, it’s effective, basically erasing – versus masking – mild household odors. We’ve had our bathroom container in place for more than two months, and ¾ of the gels remain (by the 3rd month, the beads are desiccated - see pic 4 - and the container should be replaced.) The beads remind me of caviar – small, round, and slick. They are a solid gel material and not fluid filled; you can’t squeeze the beads between your fingers. This is a good thing since if you drop the container, the beads won’t explode and spew scented liquid everywhere. We’ve tried a lot of different products to mitigate odors in the home, but this is the most efficient, low maintenance, and attractive one, yet. I saw this brand being used in what used to be a funky locker room at my yoga studio. It worked there, so you can be pretty sure it will work in your home, too.
