Better than paper crockery as they are not as flimsy. Ideal for party use. They are reusable, but are also so cheap, you could use as disposable (sorry if that offends some, but I washed and reused mine!). The detail around the rim adds to the attractiveness

We decided to cheat and order these to serve up Christmas dinner due to the amount of folk we were having for dinner, we thought using these would avoid a ton of dishes. When they arrived they were asthetically pleasing, pure white with a little shiny silver border, however we realised that although the plates were an acceptable size for a buffet, they were not suitable for our needs because there was pretty much no depth to them meaning anything like gravy or curry sauce etc would just run off the sides. We ended up returning them. Had it have been a buffet, pakoras, pizzas sandwiches etc, these would have been great, the plastic is very sturdy and you could reuse them again and again if you wanted, the only let down is the depth.

I rarely comment but these were so attractive and useable and everyone kept commenting I was so surprised .
