It's 200. I don't see it mentioned anywhere on here but here's a little secret, zoom into the picture of the chip and you'll see the pin numbers on the bottom corners. 1 at the far left and 199 at the far right. If it were 240, the one on the right would say 239 :)

Will this work on a toshiba satellite l305d-s5900?

Sorry, I don't think so. Quote, from Toshiba's detailed spec PDF: "Maximum capacity 4096MB" so 2x4GB is a no go, at best 2 x 2GB is possible.
