Very good
Good quality, good price. Arrived on time.

Good for offset tripod setups.
Seems well engineered, maybe just a tad less substantial than a more brand name product. It's very useful for small tripod work with a DSLR with a long lens. Recommend.

Really Wanted To Like This Plate - But Didn't
I was really hoping this was going to be a great find at a great price but was mostly disappointed. First the Pros; Great Price. Fairly sturdy and good finish. Should hold a good amount of weight (long lens). Rubber pads on top of plate to help keep your lens from moving. Now the Cons; Doesn't work with Really Right Stuff Lever Ball head. Only works with screw type Arca QR. This is a pretty long plate to only come with one attaching screw. Since there is only one mounting screw there should be tabs on the top of the plate to keep the plate straight -There aren't any. I guess I should have remembered the old saying - You get what you pay for.

Must-buy for any photographer
A useful piece that get used in many setups. It has the right size to get beneath the camera or mounted on the tripod. It's not too long to fit in the bag but long enough to fix problems in many situations. For the minimal price it will offer the best value for any photographer. A must-have item.

Paired with the N52 for proper cinema rig stability
Picked this up to pair with the Innorel N52 ball head and it's solved the stability problem I was having with the cinema rig. With heavier camera builds the standard shorter QR plates just don't give you enough contact surface, the rig wants to pivot around the single mounting point and you get a bit of unwanted flex. The 120mm length spreads the load across the base of the rig properly, two mounting points engaged means no more rotation, no more flex. For car mounts and any kind of dynamic mounting situation where forces are getting put on the rig from different angles, that extra contact surface genuinely matters. Arca-Swiss compatible so it drops straight into the N52 without any adapter nonsense, and it's universal enough that I can swap it between different heads in the kit if needed. Build is simple but solid, no sharp edges, the rubber pads on the underside grip well so even when you've got the screws loose it's not sliding around. Cheap solution to what could have been an annoying problem. If you're running a longer rig and finding it wants to twist on a standard plate, just grab one of these.

Good if tighten properly
Served the purpose for my telephoto lens attached to the Gimbal. Needs to be tightly secured which can be hard to do with the small mounting screw. I use a 5¢ coin (Australia) to further tighten.

Strong & light!
I have this plate attached to my 600mm f4 super telephoto which in-turn is mounted to a gimbal head on a monopod. I then lug this setup over my shoulder down trails and through brush photographing birds. I've never had any concerns about whether it's strong enough to hold this heavy load.

Belle fabrication.
