After trying several kinds of jump ropes, I purchased this jump rope based on good reviews. Turns out the reviews were correct and I am very pleased with this jump rope after many weeks of use. The quality and construction is very good and the grips have a nice tactile feel to them. Compared to the usual ropes you will see in gyms, these are 'slim' profile. I sized the wire once and since then did not have to make any adjustments to the length. Both ends have a screw 'lock' that can be easily used to loosen and tighten to adjust the length. The slim profile of the jumping wire allows for easier jumping with a fast swishing sound as you jump. Note that since the rope is actually a rubber coated wire, I use a tie to bundle up the rope after use. If you do not use a tie or the little bag that comes with the rope, it will not be possible to fold it. For me this is not a big issue and using any ordinary tie lets me roll up the rope and tie it into a compact shape that easily fits into my track pant pockets. Overall the shape and size of the rope is small and very manageable. Excellent high quality rope that will serve you well.

This is my first jump rope that I've bought or even owned in 15 years or so. I'm by no means someone who needs a really advanced product as I'm not a competitive athlete, but I didn't want anything really cheap either. This is exactly what I was looking for. At the price point, I was a little worried that it would be cheaply made, but I'm really surprised by the quality. It's really strong and durable. It's adjustable to accommodate different heights too. The handles are a really lightweight plastic that are still easy to hold on to, and their size makes them really portable too. The whole thing will fit into a small bag that's included. I got this because I'm trying to get into better shape over the summer and wasn't really sure what to expect from these more advanced jump ropes, but I'm really impressed. High quality, easy to adjust and awesome price.

Effective

Since this is the first jump rope I've ever bought, I'm not quite sure how these kind of ropes are suppose to hold up. I've had this jump rope for about three months now. Just following the fitness guide that comes with the purchase(Very useful by the way for someone just starting out) I jump rope about three days a week. After the first month I noticed some wear in the center of the rope which I thought was normal since it hits the ground pretty frequently. It started revealing the steel wires underneath the plastic cover. It didn't affect me jumping at all so I wasn't really worried. Toward the end of the second month, the plastic cover started to give away and pieces started to peel off. Once again, I wasn't particularly worried. I just cut off the stray strands and kept on going. Now nearing the end of my third month the steel wires are starting to fray. I can vividly remember the exact moment I started worrying when the jump rope hit the back of my leg and a piece of the frayed wire went through my skin. That was 5 minutes ago. I literally just stopped mid workout, ran to my computer and started this review. Overall, yes it's great rope up until the moment it isn't. I was considering giving it a lower rating but honestly this rope combined with the guide really got me motivated to get into shape. I am incredibly satisfied with the product, service, and reliability of this product! I had never jump roped, but heard that it was a fun, hard workout and decided to give it a try. One describes how to use the specific rope (very clear instructions on how to adjust and such), jumping workouts (warm up, explanation of jumps, example workouts for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, and cool down regimes), and the importance of nutrition. Without these e-books my jump rope probably would've stayed in the box, however I was able to slowly work my way from the beginner level to advanced level of jumping with the guidance of the given workouts! I have also used the given outlines and description of jumps to create my own workout regimes, it's nice to always be switching it up. I would say the wire cable is a pro and con of this rope; although it is great for jumping, it also can be quite painful. In the beginning, when I was still learning how to jump, I did whip myself a couple times which did not feel too great. However, this was not a rope issue this was a user issue, my rope was not at the proper length. Four months into using the rope 2-3 times a week, the wire started to poke out. I brought this to the attention of L&G Enterprise and they are sending me A BRAND NEW ONE! The lifetime guarantee is amazing and they really want you to be happy with their product. I definitely would recommend this to any person looking for a jump rope!

Great rope

質感、使用感良しだが、留め具の調整が面倒くさい

とても回しやすい縄でした。長さを調節するために切るのが少し大変でした。

一応ワイヤーなので跳ぶことに関してはすごく調子がいいのですが、使い始めて1分もしないうちに外を囲ってるゴム素材が禿げてワイヤー剥き出しになってしまいました。あと、当たるとめちゃくちゃ痛いので、小さい子の2重跳び成功させるためとかなら別のものの購入を検討して頂いた方が賢明かと思います。

持ち手が小さく、長さの調節もうまく出来ず、使えませんでした。
