Review from the wife.I have been after a makeup remover that is kinder on the environment and my skin. I am guilty of using wet wipes, which then makes my skin irritable. So I thought I would give Huku ago, as they are made from natural materials and hold antibacterial properties.I was really excited to try the pad tonight as I have been out all day! Make up was not overly heavy but my foundation does cling to my skin and I have long eye lashes and mascara is a nightmare to take off!! Not anymore, this pad is fantastic!! I started with warm water on the pad (you can you use micellar water) and started washing my face, it felt like and nice deep clean and does not hurt at all. I saw my pad turn foundation colour, gave it a rinse and a squeeze and went over again. All makeup has been removed and has left my face feeling very soft and a deep clean feel. I haven't washed my pad yet as only used once, rinsed out well though and can be used so many times. The instructions on the box which is a nice design is very clear and easily understood. Delivery was also quick. Extreamly happy with my purchase and such great value for money 16 pads for £10 which would last me months if not a year or more.Christmas is coming, so I will be ordering more for present as would make a great gift for anyone. Lovely product. Hygienic and Easy which is a must, comes with a bag to pop them in the washing machine. I use the pads to remove makeup (eye make up remover, miccelar water). I also use them for various types of toner. Additionally, I find they wash well! Great product, great service! Arrived quickly and Beautiful packaged in a box. Will be buying more.

I really like these as I hate throwing away make up remover wipes, especially as I don't wear much make up. They work well and are nice and soft. It's also great knowing that you aren't just throwing money in the bin as you do with wipes.My only complaints would be that as they are white, mascara and eyeliner can often stain the pads, but I prefer this than knowing that they have been unnecessarily dyed, which would potentially reduce how eco-friendly they are. Also, I am not a huge fan of the washing bag they come with as when its wet straight out of the washing machine, the draw string top is difficult to undo. I use a mesh laundry bag for underwear and delicate pieces of clothing etc so I put them in with this and its much more straightforward.Overall I would definitely recommend!

Great product so far not as soft on the eyes as I thought it would be but not too bad. Very surprised how easily I make up came off particularly Mascara! Instructions not too bad but limited. Would like to know if you could use this pad for toner or other ways of using it! Washes up very well in the washing machine.

These pads are perfectly efficient at removing make-up - I use mine with a micellar water. They feel super soft when new, but once wet, they have a slightly rougher texture which I actually think is quite good as it feels mildly exfoliating. I just wish they would come up cleaner once washed. I’ve put them in a 60 degree white wash and they still are stained, especially from mascara. Not so nice to pick up a washed one that still looks a bit grubby and use it on your face, but they still to do the job.

Lovely packaging and product design. product is exactly what it says and easy to use. As stated in the description and to be expected, heavier and darker makeup does tint the pads a bit but they clean very easily. happy to be helping the environment a bit more!

I've tried a few different brands of little cotton/bamboo pads now and they've always let me down, whether they turn to bobbly mush when washed or are the wrong kind of material to use for toner.I got these after much perusal because they looked like some pads I already had from a set with two different kinds - one, the majority of the set, being more like a Terry material (which is useless for toner as it is fluffy) and the other - the one I needed - being a closer knit, cotton type material.These are perfect for toner. They don't repel or soak up too much product, they're the right size and they wash well. For a tenner, sixteen is good value.The only issue is the washbag - I would strongly advise you use one with a zipper or toggle closure rather than the one supplied, simply because you don't want to risk it coming undone and your pads picking up machine fluff and lint.
