Lovely violin rest
Much better than my beginning poly pad with its rubber bands , I love the ease of attaching and the overall stability and comfort a must buy for beginners, to musicians that don't have much money

Grandson was excited to get it. Seems well built but only time will tell if it holds up to use and abuse by an 11year old middle schooler.

No matter what you read, this is NOT solid wood....
Temper your expectations. This is brown plastic, with a foam backer. That said, it fits my full-size violin well, and is comfortable. Ignore the images that make it appear to be a 'rosewood' color. I had hoped it was, and would match my violin finish. It isn't, and doesn't. But what it is: roughly $10, basic but not unattractive and feels like it might last a minute or three. If I were buying for a student violin, I'd probably pull the trigger with this one again.

Pieces don't stay attached
At first I thought it was okay, but now the end pieces just keep popping off. I thought maybe I wasn't doing something right, but now I realize it's just poorly made or I got a bad one. My sons teacher gave us another one because she couldn't get it to stay attached either.

Die Stütze stinkt sehr stark nach Plastik, die Verarbeitung ist nicht gut und sie ist auch sehr hart und unbequem. Sie geht also zurück...
