Pack of 8 Genuine Motorcraft Spark Plug SP-493 AGSF32PM

Picked up this pack of 8 Genuine Motorcraft spark plugs while doing an intake manifold swap and figured it was the perfect time for a tune-up. These are the real deal — genuine Motorcraft plugs — and cost a fraction of what my local parts store wanted. Shipping was incredibly fast (arrived in under 48 hours), and all the plugs were perfectly gapped right out of the box. Fit and quality were spot on, and my car’s running smoother than ever. Couldn’t be happier with the price, quality, and performance. 10/10 would definitely buy again.

They were good, not seconds as one might expect

I just removed what I presume was the factory original identical plugs from my (new to me, used) 100,000 mile 4.6L 2005 Merc. Grand Marquis (same as the Ford Crown Vic, Lincoln Town Car). No records of plugs having been done, and idle started getting slightly rough. Figured plugs were among the items needing attention. These are a steal at $3 per platinum plug. By comparison, my 6.4L Challenger Hemi requires 16 plugs (2 per cylinder, 8 cylinder car) and those plugs are around $15 each. Anyway, installation on the 4.6L is low skill but requires a healthy dose of patience and a extensive socket set with elbows, extensions, and many fittings. Plan on a 4 hour job if you're not an expert, and watch a few videos for tips. I just finished and took it for a test drive and it purrs like new, no more rough idle. It feels pretty good doing a maintenance job that will last another 90,000 miles (the recommended period to replace plugs). These plugs are fantastic and a bargain price. I'm buying another set to put in my extra parts box.

Works great

Excellent quality spark plugs, nothing beats OEM parts, very good price. Almost all were gapped to specification for a 2003 Ford F-150 4.6. Can't go wrong with genuine Motorcraft parts.

If you're reading this, you can do it. The 2005 f159. An engine notorious for spark plugs breaking off in your engine block. Once you get the old plugs out, installation is a breeze. I believe this is the upgraded version that won't break off in your engine block. Can't beat OEM in most circumstances. Just be sure to add silver anti seize to the threads and dielectric grease at the connection to the coil pack. I checked the gap on every one and they were all within the recommended tolerance.

Always like oem in Ford. I own several Ford trucks.. I have tried several different types of plugs back in the day, not getting the power or fuel mileage I wanted. I went back to the original plugs, what the owners manual shows for the vehicle. If the factorys that builds Ford , mercury, and Lincoln puts motorcraft spark plugs in they have to be the right one. Most of my trucks use the platinum plugs on average I get 80 to 100 thousand miles between changing. Motorcraft quality and performance along with very competitive price ( usually a little cheaper). I've learned u can't go wrong, so look in the manual for the right ones to fit your vehicle.
